QUINN: I have a question for you. How did you know that you had feelings for kale? I mean, you’ve tried other green vegetables before and sure, they were good, but they aren’t as good as kale.
QUINN: So how did you know?
HUNTBASTIAN
[ MONDAY NIGHT, OCTOBER 14TH ]:
SEBASTIAN: opened the door to the town car letting himself out into the cold autumn air with hands gripping bags of takeout from the only decent Italian restaurant in town. He was glad for the deep red turtleneck that added extra warmth under his blazer and coat while. Singling to the driver to park and wait, Sebastian's gaze fell on to Hunter's residence. Quinn was right, he did have to tell the other man himself but that didn't mean he had to like it. He didn't like the twisting of his stomach or the expression he knew he was about to get from one of his best friends. It wouldn't be a look of hurt or disappointment but one that showed he wasn't at all surprised. This was after all very expected of him and if anyone knew that better than most, it was Hunter. Walking to the door, Sebastian maneuvered his hands in a way to ring the bell before waiting for an answer.

Hunter: I’m glad she has you to at least try and keep her as calm as possible. If you feel like you need some sort of sedative let me know, yeah? I can help you with that.
Hunter: They’re... going. He’s pretty much unresponsive, and me and Quinn had barely left his side. I’ve had to mostly, to go to the hospital. Luckily, she’s been able to stay put all these days.
Hunter: I can’t begin to think what’s going through his head, or how long before he gets better. But I can’t imagine how you get over something like that either.
Hunter: I mean, my brother is a pain in the ass. But if something like that happened to him I’d probably snap. So, I don’t know. We just have to wait and see.
Aston: I really don't want to have to do that unless completely necessary. But I don't know. She had grieved already and was moving on. This just reopened that wound for her and with everything else piled on it's a lot. But she's strong and powerful, a force of nature so I know she'll get through this too.
Aston: That's got to be hard for you. I don't know the full scope of your relationship because I tend to mind my own business rather than listen to gossip but I know how hard it is for me to even think about going back to work and leaving Jackie. So you going to the hospital and not being there has got to be just as hard.
Aston: I don't know if it's much help because I can't even pretend to understand Sebastian Smythe or what goes on in his head but I would think that he would appreciate you just being there as much as you can be. I think that's all we can do for the people who were directly affected by this. and maybe help shield them a little from the storm that is coming once the Register tells the whole story. Then it's going to be a lot of people wanting to know a lot of things and pointing accusing fingers.
Aston: I think if I lost my sister, Jackson or anyone of my family like that... It would destroy me completely... so I have so much respect and admiration for Sebastian and Jackie for still being able to keep breathing right now.
The Weight of the Stars
QUINN: leaned forward in the front seat as the car turned down the long entrance to the Fabray Ranch just outside the city. While most little girls wanted a pony for their birthdays, Quinn had asked for, and received, the whole ranch. It was tended by staff year round that kept the lawn manicured and the horses maintained. Up until she had left for college, Quinn often found herself here. She used to ride when she was young, the inside of the house was filled with trophies she'd won. But it was so much more than that for the woman who was now looking down the barrel of a life that steadily took more and more time away from this place. "I love the way it feels out here," Quinn said as she stepped out of the car and looked at the lush landscape, enjoying the feeling inside that screamed 'i'm home.' She turned soft green eyes to the man who walked up beside her and naturally hooked her arm through his. "Shall we?" Since they had stopped for things along the way, they would drop them off inside before heading out to the stables. "You know, I've been really good and let you keep me in suspense the whole car ride. Are you going to tell me your news?"

SEBASTIAN: I leave you two alone for a few days and suddenly there is Ghoulish Little Orphan Annie and whatever that pipsqueak with the bow ties is sniffing around like they are in heat.
SEBASTIAN: I'm more so judging you Hunt for indulging it with your gray face answer.
SEBASTIAN: You too Q! Encouraging that cannibal like that. Do you want to end up a skin suit or the long pork at their next cookout?
SEBASTIAN: Seriously, you guys!
