❣️Norton UPDATE❣️ Norton is feeling so much better after tons of sleep, chicken and non stop cuddling. We’re still waiting to here back from the vet about if the radiologist sees a partial or full tear in his CCL so he’s been on pain meds which make him a little sleepy but he’s been getting more playful- he loves tug o war and he always wins!- but we have to keep it to a minimum till we know what’s going on with his knee. He’s taking antibiotics for his kennel cough for another 10 days but he seems to be completely symptom free. No wheezing just a lot of snorting and snoring. Once he’s done with the kennel cough treatment he’ll be ready to get fixed. Hopefully that will be in two weeks. He does need a foster home and ultimately a forever home. The ideal candidate would be someone who has air-conditioning, is allowed to have a pitbull where they live, probably no other male dogs as he is still intact and we are just not sure how he is with other dogs yet. He’s a real lover and every day seems to be getting a little more of his personality back. He has a comfortable situation now but his recovery could be a little longer than expected with the knee situation so I want to have as many possible foster options on deck as possible. The decision to spring him loose from the shelter was last minute but I do not take the responsibility lightly. So if you or anyone you know might be an ideal candidate for fostering him please feel free to DM me and to share this post❣️❣️❣️❣️ #NortonLove (at Los Angeles, California)
