Star Wars The Last Jedi / no spoilers btw
I saw the recent Star Wars movie and loved it...but there were some inconsistencies from picking up from the Force Awakens. Most of what I’m saying will be referenced from the force awakens so no spoilers for the new movie needed. 1: Kylo Ren acted like he knew Rey, just by someone mentioning a “girl” accompanying some rogues. But how? Why? 2: No real backstory of Supreme Leader Snoke. Who is he? Is he a descendent of importance? Should we care? Blah blah blah. 3: Back story of Rey herself. Why did she get abandoned on Jakku? Well...but why? I just feel like going from director to the next kind of made things too jumpy and not consistent. In my opionion. I hope I’m Episode 9 things become more clear. Maybe I’m just being picky, but whatever. The cinematography is beautiful in this one, even the color red is just...ugh! Gorgeous! So many analogies and metaphors that tie in the whole series, it’s great.
