JAY-Z machts richtig und scheißt auf SPOTIFY

TIDAL, JAY’s eigene streaming plattform, ist ein weg musik anzubieten - und zwar so, dass künstler für gehörte musik auch entlohnt werden. Das ist bei spotify nicht so, weshalb JAY-Z seine musik (abgesehen von einigen feature songs) von spotify fern hält. es gibt schlaue menschen die errechnet haben, dass JAY damit jede woche ungefähr 1 millionen dollar durch die lappen gehen, denn JA, spoti.. zahlt künstlern etwas für gehörte musik, aber ich hab keinen bock herauszusuchen welcher bruchteil vom bruchteil eines cents das genau war. mit milliarden von plays pro woche kommen evtl eine millionen dollar zusammen, doch bei ner millionen plays dürften es noch nicht einmal hundert sein.

nutzt TIDAL, kickt spotify (und dabei geht’s mir ums prinzip künstler zu unterstützen, nicht darum, dass TIDAL die einzige alternative zu spotify ist)!

next up is ex-frente singer angie hart. i would love to direct you to her annonyingly slow version of the cure’s ‘pictures of you’ or her painfully ockerised version of the smith’s ‘there’s a light that never goes out’ but they don’t fit the criteria. so i present her taking her jolly good time with the australian crawl classic. that said be fair to angie this one actually clocks in nearly a minute shorter than the original but james reyne's most recent recordings have been nearly a minute shorter than this.
