When I was first getting into art as a child I was obsessed with a then upcoming animated film. The marketing for the movie was so confusing to poor kid me that I was absolutely worried sick that the film would fail. So, one day on a walk home from school, I put all my heart and soul into a wish for it to be a big success.

Well.... My wish worked a little too well, because that movie was Frozen. Oops.

Those good old days when poems were a great way to impress girls & appeal to their sensitive sides. Fondly reminisce those romance-filled school & university days - when we guys spent more time with the dictionary and thesaurus than our course text books. trying so earnestly to find the floweriest of words to describe our lady loves; and then the countless hours we spent writing and rewriting them to make sure they rhyme. Finally calligraphing these mushy words of love onto special art paper. And all this hard work indeed paid off. Either with a warm hug, a sweet peck on the cheek, an ice cream together or a nice note back " You're so sweet". Alas, those days are long gone and this doesn't work anymore! The current generation of speedie-ladies flee at the slightest hint of emotion. They are a tad too fast paced to stop and read sentimental love poems, or watch emotional drama. Miss the girls of the early 90s. Love to have them back! #NostalgiaSeries
