okay so i mean as far as vocal stuff goes nothing beats ella (especially with louis armstrong holy shit) and billie holiday but dinah washington kills it as well and okay original classic swingin' faves are everything ellington, count basie, benny goodman, etc. my absolute favorite big band is mingus who is WILD as shit and makes u feel things imo (my favorite songs are nostalgia in times square and moanin')........... wait ok i don't have enough characters for this i'm gonna send another ask
