(1) Is it bad that my brother and I were cheering and getting excited through each death in that Carl getting shot scene? My voice cracked really bad while we were cheering when he turned around. That scene is almost exactly from the comics, the only

i don’t think it’s bad at all to show enthusiasm to the show and have opinions on characters and how you want them to progress in the narrative, shows intentionally want their audience to form these kinds of opinions to increase personalisation and interaction with the audience!

so basically to put it in a less structured explanation, it is not bad at all, in my opinion, that you and your brother were cheering/getting excited through each death of the anderson family during carl’s major scene in the episode.

i was so excited that the show was replicating a comic book storyline to almost the exact situation that it happened originally so i was super hyped and also really excited when i saw what was happening on screen, especially since i knew this would lead to a huge development in carl’s character on the show!!

when carl turned around and revealed his gunshot wound, i was going insane with emotions and that’s amazing because that means the tv show has done their job! you know it’s a good episode when it emotionally connects (and damages i guess) the audience!

so yes i am all down for your cheering haha (but don’t cheer too much because i don’t want you losing your voice because you may need it for an unexpected singing battle that may occur one day, always be prepared haha!)

anyway, i hope you’re having an amazing day and i hope you enjoy the rest of the season as much as you enjoyed the previous episode!

Okay, I'm just gonna say. I was being a bit sarcastic in the last ask, sorry of that wasn't clear. I'm almost up to date with the comics, and I love his character there. I'm just saying that show Carl could use some improvement.

there’s always room for improvement in character i believe and i have hope that the major storyline that occurs in 6x09 will be hopefully something that will help expand the depth of his development. (fingers crossed!)
