The earthbender's lips jutted out in a pout as he percolated on his brother's words. Was he expecting him to be embarrassed or something?
"Like moving in together? Is this your way of asking me to move out of here so you can have the apartment all to yourself? Why, huh? Are you finally going on some dates and need a little more privacy? You know you could just ask me, bro."
I thought about TMA and Hannibal and what character would be related to what entity. My musings/headcanons, most of which are fluid tbh. Spoilers under the cut for nbc Hannibal and the podcast The Magnus Archives.
Will is just a patchwork of fear, but I'm not sure what he would be the avatar of per say. These are the main pieces:
The Spiral (the fear of madness, that the mind is lying to you). It can take the form of hallucinations.
The Web (the fear of being manipulated, of being lied to).
The Hunt (the fear of being prey). It can manifest into becoming a hunter with predatory instincts.
The Slaughter (fear of sudden, unpredictable violence and pain). Avatars typically become murderous.
The Eye (fear of being watched). Will's unique empathy allows him to see what most would prefer to hide.
Hannibal would probably be a mix of:
The Desolation (fear of pain and loss and destruction) typically manifests as fire, but not sure how that would present.
The Flesh (the fear and realization that we are all just meat.) The man is a cannibal, enough said.
The Web.
The Hunt.
The Slaughter.
The Lonely (the fear of loneliness). While Will likely has a bit of it as well, Hannibal went further to alleviate it, isolating Will from everyone else in the process.
