My cat family grew from two to three today.

A few weeks ago, I was in my vet’s office to buy food for Smokey (he is on a prescription diet). This is nothing short of routine for years now, but this time, things were different.

The office manager at my vet told me about a stray someone brought in who had given birth to seven kittens. She knew how well I cared for Smokey and Nacho, so she offered my pick of the litter.

I knew it would be irresponsible of me to offer my home without thinking things through---a pet is a lifelong commitment! After all, I had just adopted Nacho from my local shelter two (almost three) months ago.

So I told the office manager I would look at my budget. Before I left, I mentioned the black and white tuxedo kitten called to me while playing with the litter in the back room. He stole my heart without trying!

Days passed. Then one afternoon, I received a call from my vet saying someone else wanted to adopt the black and white kitten (along with one of his brothers) and asked if I had made a decision yet. I hadn’t finished working my budget, so I reluctantly told the office manager to let this person adopt tuxedo kitten and his brother. I didn’t have the heart to split them up when there was a chance they could be together forever.

I thought fate had made the decision for me.

I thought wrong.

Yesterday, can you guess who called me? Yep, my vet. The individual had brought both kittens back because they didn’t have the energy to keep up with them. Black and white tuxedo kitty still needed a home.

I was caught off guard. Before walking into the vet’s office weeks ago, I never would have considered adding a third cat to my family. But... I hadn’t stopped thinking of this lil’ guy, just like I hadn’t been able to get Nacho out of my head back in July.

So this morning, I officially adopted the bugger and brought him home.

I named him Charlie Chaplin.

You can call him Charlie, Chuck, or Chaz for short.

He is six weeks old and barely over a pound. He’s a snuggle bunny who loves riding shoulders, just like his older siblings.

I plan to introduce him to Smokey and Nacho the same way as before, and my hope is Chaz here will be able to match Nacho’s rambunctious kitten energy (that way my dear old Smokey can more “watch” then be expected to “play”).

My heart is very happy. I never in a million years expected to get that call, let alone adopt a third cat---guess fate had something different in mind for me.

I look forward to sharing how my three kitties grow together with all of you.

Hi folks! I mentioned I had a special unicorn planned for release this Friday, and it’s special because YOU are designing it with me!

That’s right! I’ll make whatever damn unicorn, alicorn, or pegasus you want. And if I have all materials on hand, I’ll ship within a week!

Obviously your request has to be within reason. (IE: don't ask me to give your unicorn a real diamond necklace, etc.)! You can send me a mood board for inspiration, show me artwork, ask for a parody creature based on a celebrity or character (IE: see my previous listing for "Purple Mane" a la Prince, and the "Hero of Hide-Rule” Legend of Zelda example above), or simply request a specific color combination!

LISTING INCLUDES:

--- one (1) custom unicorn, pegasus, or alicorn --- two (2) props related to your request --- adoption certificate

I haven’t 100% decided on price yet but will be close to recent releases.

PLEASE NOTE:

--- If I need to order materials, that extends your wait time by a few weeks or more. I will do everything in my power to get you your cutie as quick as possible, and will order from wool suppliers, etc. with quick processing times. --- While your request is only limited by the imagination, I will NOT replicate previous releases. For instance, you can say you want a rainbow-themed unicorn, but not another "Rainbow on My Parade". This is to maintain each unicorn's OOAK status. Thanks for understanding.
