Doctor Strange is a magical character that needs a just as magical emblem, this emblem is made from 1/4 inch Plexiglas engraved with an accurate depiction of the symbols used while he is using it. It comes with a lightbase with bright orange LEDs. A convenient switch and long cord to
Wow. Now this would be cool. Your own mystical shield as a lamp!
For those of you who just can't wait to know what happens in Marvel's Infinity War, I have your cure! I brought out a couple of tarot card decks and asked them to reveal to me the storyline for Infinity War. And they did!

So you want to know what happens in Infinity War? Great! Well, first I created a spread based on the storyline bell curve, which looks like this:
Every movie, every book, every TV show is based on a narrative arc - starting with the introduction of the characters (or if they are established, what they are currently up to now), an incident which gets those characters involved, a rise in action, a climax where things come to a head, working toward a goal (will they succeed or fail?), a tapering off of this action, and a resolution to the problem which was introduced to us at the beginning of the story.
I laid my cards on exactly those same points, but I added another - just below the climax along the same line of the intro and resolution, I placed one card to signify the overall theme of the story. So let's start there.
OVERALL THEME
King of Pentacles Rx
This is the ruler of the material world. Normally, he's a kind and responsible leader. He knows how to share what he has with others, and doles out material goods responsibly. In reverse, however, he is corrupt. He may be miserly, a hoarder, or greedy.
Considering that it's Thanos who is after all the Infinity Stones to place on his Infinity Gauntlet, I'm going with greed.
STORYLINE
Introduction/Set-Up
Eight of Cups Rx
This is the "walking away" card. Eight cups are seen in the foreground with a man carrying a walking stick turning his back on the cups and leaving. There is a gap between a couple of cups. Tired of waiting for this "missing" cup, the figure is moving away or moving on with their life.
In reverse, perhaps this is going in search for this missing cup, or frustration that something is missing. Therefore I think the opening story arc is the discovery that something is missing - I suggest the Tesseract. We've seen Loki carrying it off somewhere, so it's highly likely that his actions have been discovered at the start of the film.
Inciting Incident
Ten of Swords
This is the betrayal card, depicted by a man face down, ten swords stabbed into his back, his cape soaked with blood. Some betrayal has been discovered, or someone has been forcibly betrayed or hurt.
In the previews, we saw that Vision had his Mind Stone forcibly removed by some dark creature. We also saw Doctor Strange being tortured. It is possible that one or both of these things happen after the introduction, and is what sets in motion the action of the film.
Rising Action
Temperance Rx
This card depicts an angel pouring water from one cup into another, one foot on solid ground while the other dips itself into water while the sun shines overhead, a path in the distance leading to the mountainside. This is a card of careful balance between what is known or unknown, grounded or ungrounded.
In reverse, balance is disturbed. Something is out of place. Now, if you're Spiderkid, er, Spiderman, you might be travelling along on a bus with your fellow classmates and suddenly your Spidey-sense goes off. What do you see? A big-ass massive alien wheel floating over the Manhattan skyline. Should that be there? No, I didn't think so.
Climax
Page of Pentacles
All the Pages in the tarot indicate a learner or student. Here the student is learning something practical of the material world.
We should be about an hour into the film when this occurs, which is why it is the climax. So far we've discovered something missing, something forcibly taken or betrayed, and something out of place. Now it's time to learn the reason why.
In other words, who is Thanos and what does he want? Well, Gamora already answered that in the previews, so now you know. That should be the midpoint of this film.
Success or Failure
Five of Pentacles
Depicted as two poverty-stricken characters walking in the snow in front of a church, this is the card of lack. However, there is hope. That church can provide shelter from the cold for these characters. There is a need, and a call to action to fill this need.
After learning about Thanos and what he is up to, it is time to call the Avengers together to face him.
Falling Action
Five of Wands
Off the top of your head, what do you think would happen once the Avengers band together to face Thanos? You're right - they'd have a makeover party and do each other's nails.
No! Of course not! They're going to face Thanos and fight him in order to save humanity! This card depicts five young men with sticks, fighting one another.
Resolution
The High Priestess
This is a being (usually depicted as female, the leader of unseen energy) who is powerful in the ways of knowledge, specifically of the esoteric. Hmm. I wonder who in the Marvel universe holds the key to esoteric knowledge. Anyone?
Right, Doctor Strange! Therefore the end of the film, that's where we have a fun little meeting between Spidey and Tony and Banner. I mean, think about it. Strange and Wong go to face the disturbance of something that has fallen through the Sanctum and crashed into their stairs. Who could it be? Apparently it was the Hulk who has now re-transformed himself into Banner due to the fall. This would make sense if it happens in the midst of the fight against Thanos.
For whatever reason, Strange may have decided up to that point not to interfere with the Avengers and their struggle against this other-worldly character. But now that they've crashed his Sanctum, he may have no choice.
And THAT'S THE END OF THE FILM?!?!
Well, it is a two-parter.
But since we're ending the film with Doctor Strange entering the fray, let's find out more about him and his role in this film.
UNVEILING THE TRUTH
This Unveiling the Truth spread I did with the Madam Endora's Fortune Telling Cards.
What is Known
Fire, The Sphinx, the Unicorn
What we already know about Doctor Strange's role in Infinity War:
We know that some kind of reckless action leads to a conflict
There is a question which must be answered correctly or people will die!
There is something unique or special which only Doctor Strange can bring to this situation
From the above read of the Infinity War storyline, we know that the Avengers need to turn to Strange because they're probably not doing so hot against Thanos. We know Thanos already has two of the Stones, and that already makes him pretty damn powerful. They need someone who will answer the call to their request, someone who wields a unique power they no longer possess - the Time Stone.
Lifting the Veil
Water, The Serpent
Part of uncovering the secret concerning Doctor Strange, we will need to look closer at:
Emotions or changing circumstances which may be intense, deal with nurturing or needing to protect others, and other-worldly concerns
Someone acting in a sly, seductive, or tempting way
Something we've also seen in the previews is Doctor Strange being tortured by an evil and cunning character. We all figure this is Ebony Maw as he featured in the comic books during the Infinity War as well. His main power is of persuasion - much like the serpent in the Jungle Book who seduces Mowgli.
Revealing The Truth
The Stars, The Dragon, The Black Cat
These are things we are about to learn about Doctor Strange:
He is about to go on another journey, perhaps the journey of a hero or on a quest to discover the truth about something
Either fighting a creature who hoards materials things or wealth, or discovering a chink in someone's armor - it may be revealed there is a vulnerability which has been exposed or hidden in plain sight
A change of luck
Considering that the film may end with Doctor Strange, and the cards indicate a new journey, let's reveal the truth about Doctor Strange's journey so far.
DOCTOR STRANGE'S JOURNEY
Using the same Unveiling the Truth Spread, I returned to the classic tarot cards.
What is Known
Two of Pentacles Rx, Three of Pentacles Rx, Four of Wands
The first card is a multi-tasking/balancing card. It is when you are trying to juggle many things all at once. Upright, you are working hard at keeping things in balance. In reverse, you may be imbalanced in how you are keeping things in motion. Perhaps you are spending too much time on one thing while neglecting other areas of your life.
The second card is the craftsman/teamwork card. It is when you combine your strengths with others to get things done. In reverse, someone has let the team down, or one's abilities are being used incorrectly or are no longer effective for the sake of the group.
The third card indicates a time of celebration and building a new foundation. It could indicate a new beginning which is joyful in nature.
Looking at all three cards together, we see the pattern of Stephen's storyline from the first movie - he was all about his work and himself, he lost his ability to use his hands and therefore to work, and he found a new way of being of service, this time to others rather than to just himself.
This is Strange's journey so far.
Lifting the Veil
The Tower Rx, Two of Swords Rx
Whether the Tower is upright or reversed, this is a card of catastrophe. Upright, the people falling from the Tower are plummeting to their death. There is no way to escape their fate. In reverse, they may appear as if they are climbing away from the flames and destruction. Mind you, the building is still burning and climbing up may not always be the right solution, but this indicates an ability to do something about one's fate, even if everything else is chaotic and being destroyed around you.
The second card is a blindfolded figure wielding some dangerous-looking swords. The figure wields the truth, but the truth can cut in many directions. In reverse, there is no way to know where these swords may fall. Decisions could be hard to make. There may be confusion about what is the truth or what is truly known.
This is where Strange is heading next in his journey during Infinity War. Thanos has come to destroy Earth, and the Avengers have banded to stop him. But will they succeed with Doctor Strange's help? This answer is up in the air.
Revealing the Truth
The Chariot, Six of Wands Rx, Four of Swords Rx
The first card shows a warrior who has fixed two horses to his chariot and he's determinedly heading somewhere. He knows where he is going and what he needs to do. He may or may not be a leader, but whatever needs to be done, he's got this.
The second card depicts a figure riding a horse, wielding a stick atop with a laurel to indicate he is the leader. A group of figures also wielding sticks are awaiting his command. This is a leader about to take his troops into battle or lead them into a parade. In reverse, leadership has been corrupted in some way. One may be lead astray or leading you into danger.
The final card depicts a knight resting on a slab or altar possibly in a church or holy ground. Three swords hang in wait while another rests beneath him. He appears to be praying or meditating. This is a card of rest, consideration, and meditation. In reverse, repose is unachievable. It is knowing that danger is coming or lies ahead, and one may be restlessly anticipating it.
Taking these three together, Doctor Strange or some other warrior appears to know where he is going, but he may lead the fellow Avengers astray. Danger or problems are ahead in the next portion of his journey.
Therefore, when Infinity War ends, we may see a leader - like Strange or Stark - lead them back out into battle, but something goes terribly wrong. Think about the shot where Strange is building a very elaborate shield, but suddenly Iron Man flies through the shield in its initial formation, disrupting the energy building up in it. Could this be something that happens at the end of the film? One of them could be betraying the team, leading them down a wrong path which ends the film in a way that puts Earth in a more precarious position.
So there you have it! The storyline for Marvel's soon-to-be-released Avengers Infinity War! After the release, we'll all know if the tarot cards predicted this storyline correctly or not. Only a few more weeks to go!!!
This post isn't about Clea, but it's esoteric-centric, so if you're into that sort of thing, click on the Keep Reading to, you know, continue reading.
Some years ago I bought the books Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls by Michael Newton, PhD from a library book sale. I read them and found much of it seemed to ring true, but I still held some doubts. The years passed, I learned more about myself spiritually.
I found the books again recently through my library app which had the books as audio books. I checked them out and listened to them. They seem to ring even more true to me now than they did 20+ years ago when I first read them.
You see, Michael Newton was a psychological counselor and hypnotherapist back in the day. Obviously, he has a PhD and treated people who were having interpersonal problems by hypnotizing them as a means to get them to uncover the root cause of the issues about which they had come to him. One of his methods was to regress a person into their childhood. As a healer, he considered this very important work for the well-being of fellow human beings.
Back in the '60s and '70s, people started asking him if he would hypnotize them and regress them to a "past life." Well, he was of a very scientific mind. He loves astronomy, the study of the stars and cosmos. Never in his books does he mention the methods of esoteric arts. He didn’t really go into that new agey kind of thing. He didn't believe in this past life mumbo jumbo, so he said no. He understood the ethical implications of his work, and never wanted to compromise anyone by purposefully or inadvertently planting ideas while anyone was in a hyper-suggestive state.
Until one day it happened by accident.
He hypnotized a patient, but could not find the root cause in the usual way. He told the patient to go back to the time when x-happened (the root cause of their problem), and suddenly they're telling him about a time that wasn't of their present lifetime!
So now he became a believer. Apparently, it was a thing, but he still wouldn't just regress anyone mamby pamby. It was just a tool to get to the root cause of the problem they came to ask him to help them heal. That was it.
Then one day a woman came to him with this problem of having always felt completely and utterly alone in her life. She had been to talk therapy, been tested for depression, the lot, but never could anyone find a cause as to why she felt this way. So she decided to give hypnotherapy a try.
He took her back to her childhood, but there didn't seem to be anything. She had the feeling then, too, but she didn't lack any ability to make or retain friends; just a nagging sense that she was missing a deep connection to others in her life.
The next session he asked to try past life regression. She agreed, and they then proceeded to one or two past lives. She felt more connected to others in those lives, but there was no event in any of them wherein a disconnect between herself and another happened.
Feeling a bit frustrated, he tried another tactic. Just as before, he asked his patient to go back to a time when she felt more connected to a group. It was the word "group" he felt was the trigger to help her mind focus in on the issue, and she went back to exactly that moment.
But it wasn't on Earth. It wasn't on any physical material plane.
She was Home as a spiritual being.
She was with other non-corporeal beings who, like her, entered into other dimensional realities as a means to further their spiritual knowledge and understanding of themselves and existence at large. No, she wasn't remembering being an alien.
Basically, she was with her soul mates in her life between lives. (And in this life, she chose to do lessons without them, which is where the feeling that she didn't have deep connections with others came from - she was missing her soul mates!)
Michael Newton realized that he had uncovered the life our souls have between lives on Earth. Very carefully, Newton explored this realm in the most scientific way possible. He asked others to regress them in much the same way, and over the course of 30 years, he gathered a great deal of information from many people of all walks of life, all of which was very uniformly similar to one another that it couldn't be just a coincidence.
In the end, he decided to publish his first book just as he was ready to go into retirement. He knew his fellow medical professionals wouldn't exactly buy into the idea, which is why he was perfectly willing to publish the book and then walk away. Let others decide for themselves if what he presented was worth looking more into or not. He could only present what he had uncovered.
Many people took a great interest in his book, more than he anticipated, and most of them were more interested in understanding the spiritual journey that we undertake more than the ins and outs of what this spiritual realm was like.
He had more people volunteer, this time more intermediate and older souls than those he worked with before. (In general, people with greater interpersonal problems tend to be younger souls. As we progress spiritually, we face more difficult problems, but have a better way of coping with them than younger souls.) After which, he published his second book.
Desiring to truly retire, he then trained many others, and now hundreds of other hypnotherapists around the world use his techniques to help people discover their spiritual path lessons through life-between-lives. Their own case studies were published in a fourth book (the third being specifically focused for therapists who wanted to learn the techniques), Memories of the Afterlife, which he edited.
There is a great deal of really amazing information in these books, so I highly recommend them to anyone who want to work toward understanding themselves in a more spiritual way.
A great deal of information he presented in the books were all known to me through my own spiritual awakening and experiences throughout my life. I never went to a hypnotherapist or took illicit drugs, nor have I ever had a Near Death Experience (NDE - what he uncovered very much touches upon those if you've ever looked into them). Instead, I was given a great amount of this through dreams. Essentially, I was given the opportunity to remember my soul life on my own as a means to start on a more spiritual journey if I decided to take it.
So now between what I learned about myself as a soul, and what I'm learning with esoteric arts (astrology, tarot, palmistry, etc), I'm starting to see everything as one big inter-dimensional hologram. Everything is truly interconnected.
Then the other day I had an epiphany about why we choose Earth. What is it about Earth that is so appealing for young souls, and why is it such a good training ground for us?
Anyone remember doing science experiments with a prism? You know, the one where you learn about the properties of light, and about the spectrum contained within light.
Obviously, you shine a light source through a prism, and projected out from that is the visual spectrum. Of course, other parts of the spectrum human bodies can't see are there too, including infrared and ultraviolet.
Well, the light of the Source of All Life/All That Is is love. All of it. Everything is made of this substance. Everything was created with love, bathes in love, and never ever goes out of love. "God is love" is basically E = MC2 in spiritual speak.
Earth is a prism (not a prison!). The Earth prism is basically a very low dimensional vibration. Home is a very high dimensional vibration. We enter this reality as a means to examine the spectrum of love.
Now, the kinds of love everybody likes and feels attracted to are of course higher vibrations - blue, indigo, violet, ultraviolet. These are the higher vibrations of light/love. They are the comfy/cozy things we all want. We want to feel we are accepted lovingly without condition. We want to feel we have purpose and have connection to all things around us.
The kinds of love we don't really like and try to stay away from are the lower vibrations - infrared, red, orange, yellow, green. These are the lower versions of light/love. Sometimes they are seen in a negative way, but they, too, are a part of love. Many times we mistake these as “opposite” of love. But that is not so. There is no opposite of love other than no love at all, and technically that simply does not exist. So, yes. Anger is part of love. Fighting is part of love. Feeling separated is part of it, too. But these are all very low vibrations of love which is why they can hurt so much.
On Earth, most of the souls who come here are of the vibration of the lower colors seeking to raise their vibration to the higher ones. Some people who have experienced NDEs have mentioned that Earth is kind of like a boot camp. This really is the first training ground for a lot of souls. Not every soul, but the souls who really want to study love in depth come here.
And, boy, is it HARD!
It feels difficult because we are stratifying all the vibrations of love. We're picking love apart in order to understand love from the inside out.
Why do that?
Because that's the reason for all creation in the first place - to understand itself from the inside out!
All That Is asked itself, "Is this all there is? Can I experience more? How can I understand myself even more than I do now?" And because All That Is is, well, everything, it is omnipotent and thus answered itself by creating a multidimensional reality in which it continuously creates itself in many forms within it to examine itself in detail. By doing this, All That Is continues to raise its vibration higher and become more of what it already is.
All is One.
The apparent duality of life, why there appears to be strife everywhere even though technically everything is perfectly in order, why human beings never really seem to advance for all the so-called “experience” we have as a species, all stems from the fact that new souls are continually entering this reality. Sure, once a soul gets here, they stay here for a while. Some of them for millennia. But the end game is to learn spiritually and raise our vibrations. Eventually we get to a certain point where Earth’s lessons just aren’t going to raise us up any more. That’s when we become an Ascended Master and move on to higher dimensions.
Where it ends, no one incarnating on Earth knows for sure. Perhaps we’re too young as souls to understand - yet.
