It's a canon divergent Undertale AU that I'm working on writing. I'm not sure when I'll actually have any writing up, but I'm already really invested in it!
What is it?
Save Our Souls (SOS) is a canon divergent Undertale AU that breaks away from canon at the end of the Omega Flowey fight. After the human souls rebel, Flowey tries to reset, but things go wrong and Flowey and the human souls both start to "glitch out" before disappearing.
This leaves Frisk unable to reset, but not without hope of a happy ending. With Chara, their friend and ghost companion by their side, Frisk is determined to somehow find the human souls and save everyone. But will they be able to succeed?
As I'm sure many of you are aware, Ao3 has been the target of a DDoS attack that has temporarily shut the site down. Estimates say that the site may be down for weeks.
All we can do right now is stay off of the site (the DDoS attack has already overwhelmed the servers) and wait for the wonderful Ao3 volunteers/ staff to resolve the issue on their own. (Volunteers/ staff, you are so amazing and valued, thank you for your service.)
Since there's nothing else we can do at the moment, I will be re-uploading most (if not all) of my Ao3 fics unto Tumblr.
If you're also a fanfic writer, (and have records of your fics,) I encourage you to do the same. It's not the same as Ao3, but it's something, and there's not much else we can do.
If you do re-upload stuff, though, please put it under "readmore" bar! It'll make posts far easier to scroll past.
(PS, I will tagging all my re-uploads from Ao3 with "#re-upload from ao3" and "#kaivee re-upload from ao3" just to make everything easier to find.)
So, I made a tag list a while ago for my writing, but I haven't used it in a while (and now am kinda nervous too, because what if people don't want to be on it anymore? It's probably fine but, y'know, anxiety.)
But I also made that tag list when I was exclusively an Amphibia fanfic writer. And while I'm still that, I'm starting to branch out into Warriors as well, and totally get if people wouldn't want to be tagged for both.
So, basically, what I'm saying here is this:
I'm starting up a new tag list for my Warriors content!
If anyone would like to be added to either tag list (Amphibia OR Warriors - or both!) just let me know!
(Or if you WERE on the Amphibia tag list and want to be removed, I can also totally do that.)
Alright, so, I haven’t even named this AU yet, but I really want to share my ideas so far, so anyway. ^-^
Please feel free to interact with this post or send me asks about this au! <3
This is a human AU (but the land/world/whatever is called Amphibia).
It’s kind of inspired by The Hunger Games, with children being forced to kill one another as a “celebration” because of the government. But there’s a few differences between this and the games in Panem - instead of 12 districts, there are 3 tribes (Heart, Wit, and Strength) and the child-vs-child fights to the death only happen every 80 years or so. This is because the calamity gems only give their powers to one set of people at a time, and all three gem wielders have to die before to the powers can be inherited by the new generation. So, every 80 years or so, each of the 3 tribes gets a child blessed with calamity powers.
The three children, called the Children of Wit/Strength/Heart, are trained until around their 18th birthdays, where the three of them fight - the winner gets to help rule the central government along with The Night (who is basically treated as a god), and their tribe gets rewarded.
But, something goes wrong during one specific cycle - for some reason, the Children of Heart/Wit/Strength (Anne/Marcy/Sasha) can communicate via dreams, and actually end up becoming friends. But when they’re supposed to kill one another, they realize something - they’ve fallen in love and can’t kill each other.
So they do the only thing they can think of - run.
THAT WAS SUCH A GOOD SHORT FIC AND IM CRYING ITS SO GOOD ALHDOHDHODHODJODHIDHOD
