Traditional Chinese! I learned Chinese in Taiwan so I can't really read Simplified haha

“Raising Eres” (Part 1)

So, a bit of explanation...

There is, admittedly, a reason I haven’t been quite as active with writing / on Tumblr in general. So, to keep you guys somewhat in the loop, I figured I’d give... a general gist, I guess.

For the past year, my mother’s been having random dizzy spells. Racing heart, short of breath, near fainting, room spinning, dizzy spells. Doctors can’t seem to find anything just like with me but

So, maybe 2 months ago, she went for a Catscan.

Turns out there’s a spot on her lung. They don’t know for sure it’s anything to be worried about - could be scar tissue - but they want to get it out just in case.

Her surgery's tomorrow. And Mom is terrified - which is finding it’s way to me. So while I’m trying to be the strong one in the house right now, I’ve been stressed and anxious because of it, and my creativity and inspiration come far less often right now.

I am doing my damn best to believe everything will be fine - the surgery will go great, she’ll be okay, she’ll recover quickly. But part of me is scared, to.

So... I restarted Origins. And while yes, I’ve been managing to update the fic that goes with that while I play, I’m mostly playing so that I’m distracted. So... that’s what’s going on.

I thought you guys deserved a heads up. Hopefully everything goes fine and I’ll be back to normal shortly. Regardless, take care ♥
