Giant pandas are no longer endangered!
Yes it absolutely sucks that they where, even for a period of time, on the endangered species list but it’s progresse as a whole to see that humans are getting involved and changing the problems we face. Even if it does seem small, it is something. Go pandas!

The reason why only female mosquitoes drink blood is so that they can nourish their child-bearing bodies. Blood is full of proteins and amino acids, which makes it the perfect prenatal supplement for growing mosquito eggs, which is why only female mosquitoes drink blood.
So on one hand it's for the children.
On the other hand, we have way too many, and:
Mosquitoes get infected with germs, such as viruses and parasites, when they bite infected people and animals.
They pass those germs, viruses and parasites to others.

I had some time at work today, and I wanted to see what I could do with the 3D printer we got last year. Earlier this week, I noticed Digimorph had downloadable files of their skulls, so this is my attempt with a platypus skull.
I just grabbed their file and printed it, so it’s kinda fragile. Next time I’m going to see if I can edit it to make it more solid.
On the plus side, you can see up this one’s nostrils!
