You were never scared of bullying
It still sucked, nobody likes getting beaten up, or harrassed but you could always handle it, you were resilient and you knew how and when do keep your head down.
That was until Her.
How in the hell could you have handled Her?
When you first saw Her you thought she must have been an angel, the sight of Her left you dizzy and your head empty. Your senses left you and those keen instincts you'd used to stay out of the crosshairs of bullies were suddenly gone. A single slip up was all it took, you don't even know what you stumbled on but regardless it left you on the floor at Her feet.
For a moment looking up at her smile you mistook it for mercy, a kind heart to help you up and bring you into a warm embrace.
But then the moment passed, no hand reached out to you, no sympathy, no mercy. There was no warmth in that smile, and the angelic visage shattered like ice. She stifled a mocking laugh and you felt heat rising in your cheeks but you weren't simply embarrassed, that would have been fine, you could have handled that.
You were flustered.
And in a terrible moment of eye contact you could see in Her eyes the realisation of your weakness, your shameful excitement at her cruel attention.
She was not your angel.
You were Her new toy.
