Absolutely! I am a firm believer in letting everyone share in AUs, tropes and general fandom concepts—it’s a lot more fun when you’re able to explore these things with everyone! So by all means, if anyone DOES decide to toy with the concept and characters, I absolutely want to be tagged so I too can see all that cool shit 👀👌

Hi hello I'm just here to say you've made me obsessed with the future past au and now I'm just imagining hades fist fighting himself. That being said emet-selch reacting to hythlodaeus is also a treat (the ANGST potential I tell you)

The angst potential is STRONG for how the four of them will reflect upon how their efforts to bring back their original world (namely Emet-Selch) only made the situation worse and more painful in the end. God, when they get to the events of Shadowbringers and seeing that shit happen in painful detail… it will be deliciously angsty 👀

I think it will also be extremely fun to see how much I can toss them into the background of canonical events without changing them too drastically—or maybe do the opposite and go out of my way to change events I would have loved to see happen differently. It’s like this weird combination of fix-it fic that is both literal and metaphorical, if only because the characters themselves are doing the fixing part XD

Don’t demean or discourage yourself! I’m able to take screenshots like I do thanks to the multitude of tools others have made—specifically the hard work that developed Anamnesis (formerly Concept Matrix Tool), Gshade and Texttools.

I also have professional training in photography (I was a photojournalist for several years) so admittedly I’ve funneled all those latent skills into my screenshots since they would otherwise be collecting dust XD

That said, those tools and skills can absolutely be used and learned by anyone with a mid-range PC and the patience to try a new skill. I promise that you are most certainly not dumb, and not at all unable to learn how to take awesome screenshots yourself with a little elbow grease and patience c:

hey, in the future past AU screenshots, what filter/shader did you use? is it a gshade one?

I’m not 100% since I’m horrible at keeping track, but I wanna say it’s a variant of a Johto’s Studio shader as I used them a lot around that time period. It’s likely tweaked from whatever the default setup was so unfortunately I can’t give you many details (there’s been several updates since and a computer crash last year lost all my settings) but it was definitely using gshade!
