I sincerely apologize, the jokes I made about how Sam dying would be a good thing because then Celia and Alice could be in love at the beginning of the episode were in poor taste
I did not expect that man to actually die
ļæ¼ A few weeks ago I asked you what Al would do if reader got pregnant and couldn't get rid of the baby and you said that he would leave the baby somewhere for soemone to adopt it or something like that and I wanted to know what would happen if Reader convinced him to keep the child and raise him up. (as normal as it gets in this situation) Because I can imagine him hating the kid and just waiting for an opportunity to beat this kid up but Reader getting between themļæ¼ and Al just being frustrated cause he doesn't want to share reader with anyone (not even his own child)
Let's say for example, the kid played football in the house and broke something..reader being in the shower while this happens. (Ba) Als reaction?
Hmmm. Well, they do say that childhood abuse tends to pass down from generation to generation, and I imagine Alās possessive nature probably would cause him to be more hostile toward anyone getting in the way of that.
I think heād be conflicted about it. I mean, they are his kid. But I think heās been taught that kids need discipline when they fuck up, and has learned from his parents that you need to beat on your children to teach them how to behave and function in adulthood (yeah, because that worked out so well for Al š).
Idk if heād want to hit the kid out of jealousy so much as just mimicking what his own parents did/what he thinks is the right thing to do. But Reader has a very different approach to it and would be hella pissed; sheād probably go so far as to use herself as a human shield to get him to back off.
If she wasnāt aroundā¦tbh I think it depends on how the kid reacted. If they were sorry about what they did, I think heād just huff and blow it off, especially since he knows that if Reader sees any bruises, sheās going to kick his ass. But if the kid had an attitude with him, I think heād be more likely to react out of instinct/without thinking and beat on them for it.
Which, of course, puts him in hot fucking water with Reader when she inevitably finds out.
Tbh, I wouldnāt put it past him to be violent for the sole purpose of trying to purposely get the kid taken from them. Physical discipline was by no means uncommon back then, but if it was bad enough, authorities would have no choice but to get involved.
