If you don't mind me asking, what program do you use to make your game?
I use Twine! It’s a free to use engine that uses scripting languages you can use to write interactive fiction or other projects! Here's a really good explanation by @idrellegames
It's a bit intimidating but once you figure your footing and ignore the over-complicated stuff in the documentation, you can make anything your heart desires!
There's a few different language variations within Twine; Harlowe(which got a very user/beginner friendly update a little while ago), Sugarcube 2(which is what Love and Friendship uses), Chapman, and Snowman(both of which I heard good things about but not touched before)
Here's a really good tutorial of navigating Sugarcube's documentation by @townofcrosshollow that I really recommend looking at before diving into the documentation
Here's another good resource by @iorifd about how choices look in different scripting programs, including Twine!
Sorry about the info dump but I hope the links are useful and I'm always happy to talk about any twine questions!
