Then Trump returned to office and issued sweeping pardons to those convicted of attacking officers like Fanone on January 6.
After the pardons, Fanone expressed profound betrayal, saying he no longer views the current government as legitimate and has called Trump guilty of treason.

Why am I here?
I see a lot of fear and anxiety surrounding technology, especially among leftists—and with good reason. Modern tech companies are more powerful, authoritarian, and invasive than ever, and the fascists gaining power across the world are all for it. And modern technology is so advanced that it’s hard to tell what’s real, how it all works, and what to do about it—and the people who DO understand how it works are mostly techbros and technocrats. I hope to dispel a little bit of the fear of the unknown that surrounds STEM topics, and help leftists know how to respond.
Who am I? Why should you listen to me?
I am a 23 year old spacecraft engineer living in Cascadia. I’m an AuDHD queer leftist, and all my analysis is through that lens.
Very important: I AM NOT AN EXPERT ON EVERY STEM TOPIC!!! My knowledge base is limited to the following subjects (in rough descending order of competency):
- Aerospace engineering and space technology
- Software engineering and technology
- Electrical engineering and technology
- Fundamental physics and astronomy
- Mechanical engineering and technology
- Pure mathematics
My expertise outside of these fields is very limited. I’m not qualified to do analysis in any life science/social science field. I can do rocket science, but not brain surgery. Even in the fields listed above, I’m not an end-all-be-all expert. I can and will get things wrong from time to time.
