So today in tech, there was this one light that wasn't even aimed onstage so I decided to fix it and so I got up on a ladder and started adjusting it but then it wasn't working and I probably ended up moving the ladder like fifteen times and it took me like twenty solid minutes on this one light and I only had one gardening glove for protection from the light and it was a right hand one, which is the hand I would normally use for the wrench. The show's in an old barn, so there's no catwalks or anything, they're just hung on the rafter things and you have to use a ladder to adjust them and since it's a 100+ year old barn the floor's uneven and the ladder wiggles constantly and there are kids around and it's hot outside but it's even hotter inside the barn next to lights that have been running for a good couple hours.
