Thank you for all your kind thoughts! That’s the first time we’ve had a bushfire so close to home in the almost 16 years we’ve lived here. We did get embers falling last night - the evidence in the photos below. Everything is contained now, it’s been raining steadily since this morning so that’s clearly helped. F and I ended up going to visit Dad while the husband stayed home just-in-case.

Now a few short hours to unwind and get ready for the week.
