Why are ppl so obsessed with plot holes in books and movies and stuff. Can’t you just be at peace with the unknown?!

One of my jobs is at a non profit helping ppl get gov assistance to avoid eviction and the way some of these property management companies treat ppl and have the power to ruin a persons life is so fucked up. You get evicted and it’s nearly impossible to rent anywhere else that isn’t a slum. You will be homeless if you don’t have any sort of support system. They get away with it because they technically aren’t breaking the law. The US needs some major housing/rental reform now because there should not be a power imbalance like this.

It’s probably not gonna happen because our government sucks but we need it. These rich ppl sit there and complain about the homeless problem and housing crisis while also directly contributing to it and act like there’s nothing they can do. Like just once take some accountability.
