10th Anniversary!

The blog is now a whole ten years old!

The blog has seen me through all of high school and my bachelor's degree. (And now I'm applying to grad school, bluh)

It's been an odd constant in my life, if I'm being honest.

I can move to a different state for a few years, lose touch with old friends and make new ones, gain new skills and try out different hobbies, lose loved ones, travel to a different country for the first time - all these different changes and experiences - but outofcontextdiscord is still here.

I still check the queue and the inbox, just in the evenings after dinner rather than while waiting for the bus at 6:50 am.

I’d like to thank former Mods who helped run this blog, the people who gave to the various fundraisers I’ve had up on the blog, and everyone who has submitted something.

Thank you all for helping me have a nice constant these past 10 years.

As for what I plan to do, the next 100 posts will be (approximately) the 100 most popular posts from the blog!

I will also be throwing in some of my own old submissions that I really like :).

The queue will be bumped back up to 24 a day for this little celebration, returning to normal after the most-popular post is reblogged.
