If you’re going to send us an ask about why one of these characters isn’t/cannot be aro, here’s a handy guide to what our responses will be :)!

But [Character] has admitted to a crush on somebody! First of all, aromanticism is a spectrum. It is possible for someone to be demiro or aroflux or any number of identities, and still feel/confess romantic attraction. Additionally, not all aro people know they are aro and some will force themselves into what they think is romantic attraction so that they feel normal or fit in. 

But [Character] is in a relationship!  Aro people can be in relationships too! And being in a relationship does not by any means invalidate their identity. Some aros on the spectrum can be in two sided romantic relationships, some can be in queerplatonic/quasiplatonic relationships, and any number of understandings can be reached by the partners involved. That’s up to you to decide; we only post the characters :)

Glinda is the most romantic character in Wicked. She consistently talks about being in love and flirts constantly. It's ridiculous so say she is aro. No hate towards aro people at all but it goes completely against canon to say she is aro.
