how do you make these?? they're so cool, i wanna make them for other fandoms-

is there a certain app you use?

I (mod tenko) use ibispaint x ! and there's a lot of different ways to make these but for the easiest/simplest way, a tutorial is under the cut :)

use New Canvas → Import picture to add in your panel

Add the color you want on the layer above and click the circled "normal"

Once there, just click Screen and the results will be like this ↓

hi !! do you guys happen to take requests to pink-ify something? i’ve been trying to make the picture of yaomomo in bakugou’ hero costume pink but i haven’t been able to do it right 😅 if you don’t take requests, no worries! i love your account <3

how do you make the pink edits?

to put it simply,

- i use "extract line drawing" filter in ibispaint x

- turn the lineart layer to bright pink

- make the backround of the entire image light pink

- manually add (or use bucket tool) bits of white on the parts i want to highlight

- usually these parts are eyes/teeth, important text, certain people's faces, hair, sound effects, etc

- white parts can be large but leave the backround light pink
