Cleaned up my tumblr and my tags, now to play with the new theme I will use to make it perfect for me.

Under the cut : How to trim and change over a year of tags without cringing
The tools you need :
- http://tags.goose.im/ (There exists an xkits extension but it keeps crashing and is slower).
- Autohotkey > To make an AHK and refresh the tag website since this one will modify the tags of about 30 posts at once.
- an AHK file with this code in it, the loop is set to 50 but you can change that as you will.
How to :
- Go to the website, allow it to access to your tumblr then fill the form and press “go”.
- Open your AHK and use numpad0 + ctrl to launch it (you’re of course free to change my AHK code).
- Take a coffee or something as the AHK will refresh and press enter to confirm 50 times to relaunch the form you just did. (On my side I was watching a movie while refreshing the AHK once in awhile).
Tricks :
- It is possible to cut off only a part of a tag. Let’s suppose you have 4 tags : “ff14″, “ff14:arr”, “final fantasy 14″ and “final fantasy 14:arr”, if you chose to cut off the “:arr”, you’ll have left “ff14″ x2 and “final fantasy 14″ x2, since it’s impossible to have twice the same tag, you can use this trick to cut off more than one tag at once.
- In the same way, if you changed your character last name but have different tags with the past name, you might want to look only for the last name and not the whole name. For example for changing Carina’s name on my blog from Carina Lir to Carina Hlaiwa, I looked for Lir and changed it for Hlaiwa so every single of my tags, even the oddest ones, would be changed at once.
