No shame living with in-laws! My husband and I lived with his parents for 3 years while we were saving for a house (we were 32/35 and 34/37 when we moved in/out). It was very challenging at times but we're immensely grateful they let us live with them for that long. Also its sad that programs are all subscription based these days. I'm still using the Microsoft version I used for college in 2010! (Love the blog btw!! Glad things are going well for you :) )

that's awesome, im glad that worked out for you! we might find our own house one day, you never know, but we aren't really planning on it. most likely we'll end up caring for my in laws as they age - which is fine cos we don't have kids like my partner's sister does. and my FIL is already in his 70s so it's not even that far away.

and omg good for you for hanging onto your license so long! if i hadn't run my laptops into the ground (like literally not recoverable) i could have been able to say the same 😭 i was in uni 2015-2020 and they still gave out permanent licenses back then. i did a single course last summer and got access again but they've made it way stricter and it's subscription based so i couldn't keep it :'(

small life update: i have been very busy lately and it's about to get worse because we are moving at the end of July. we are moving into what I hope will be our forever house, so on top of packing, my partner also wants to do some painting and other maintenance before we move in.

ive been working on the census results!! but it's very time consuming and im not sure when ill finish, especially with the move. just want to be up front about that!!

(i also finally got kicked off my school microsoft subscription that ive been milking for a year lol, so im using libre office instead and there's a bit of a learning curve. it mostly functions the same as MS Excel but some things are different. i tried using google sheets first but the lag with it being online instead of offline was unbearable).

THANK YOU. It’s mad uncomfortable when I have to sit and scroll through creepy, explicit confessions, and it’s even worse that I can’t filter it and control my feed because for some reason, some of these nsfw takes…aren’t being tagged as nsfw. Fun.

those posts are not nsfw yall 😭 like im open to criticism and maybe im missing something but they don't read as inherently sexual to me, they're just silly?
