WIP Whenever (07/21/2025)

I'm learning to crochet a spiral sun granny square. Hoping to help my daughter make hippy headbands to sell at Rt. 66 Fest in October, if I can make enough squares.

This is the thread you make doilies out of, much smaller than worsted weight yarn, and I need lots of light to see wth I'm doing! Definitely a challenge getting the tension right because this stuff doesn't stretch like yarn does.

Two corners done. But I think I'm gonna quit here, rip it all out, and start a new one from scratch. The middle is loose, and I got the tension down better in later rounds, so it's puckering in the middle. Also, it's odd turning something round into something square.

Tainted Grail is a lot less like Skyrim and more like King's Field, it feels very strange but I'm enjoying it. Currently bashing fellas over the head with my magic wand that acts more like a cudgel than a wand but what do I know
