I crave Billy and the kids all developing a close bond. I crave Billy filing in as their at-first-reluctant bodyguard. I crave Billy and Lucas bonding over a mutual interest in one thing or another. I crave Billy and Will bonding over their sexuality and Billy learning that it's okay to be who he is and seeing he has an actual support system in Will and the others. Billy and Dustin chattering about Steve and Science because Billy is secretly a huge nerd and Dustin is definitely trying his damnedest to be a wingman but instead makes everything awkward. Billy and Max bonding over how much of an asshole Neil is and him trying to make up for how he treated her so long. Billy and Mike bonding over D&D because it interests Billy once he actually learns about it. Billy and El bonding over righteous fury and soft sides being nourished at last.

Just... Give me Billy becoming the other teenage parent to six wild nerds please.

S3 Idea/Theory

SO everyone is talking about Steve's summer job at Scoops Ahoy!

But what if it's not a summer job? What if there's been weird shit going on after it opened up, and they needed an in to keep tabs on it? Well it would probably look mighty sketchy of the police chief was loitering around too much, and Jonathan and Joyce still have to work for a living. The kids can get by with being there, but they can't snoop too much without getting in trouble(cause they're kids and kids are not good at sneaking)

Cue Steve, putting in an application and begrudgingly wearing that nightmare of a work uniform for the sole sake of having an excuse to be at the mall and investigate, watch, and snoop around.

Maybe that's how Robin gets involved with the whole things too, catches Steve snooping and they become close monster hunting buddies(I am Not Here for potential Rebound Robin but I want them to be friends)

Idk I just feel like they missed an oportunity to expand on his dad's business and his character and family by shoving him into a silly job that's probably gonna get him antagonized by Billy and Tommy and I want there to be a purpose behind it aside from kicks and giggles.
