i understand why this definition exists and is phrased like it is. but can i just say that i rly dislike the definition of lesbianism as "non men loving non men". idk. it bothers me that it centers men. men r not at the core of my identity, even if it's a lack of attraction to them. i don't really see anyone describe being gay as "non women loving non women" either, which feels telling.

About your coryo anxiety post, teenagers do stupid things. Teenagers have attitude. Teenagers are NOT perfect. As a former teen I would know 😭 like coryo isn’t that bad when he’s in the academy, some people are taking it way too seriously.
I understand feeling icky over his ownership comments regarding Lucy Gray but honestly that’s the worst of it and some of it isn’t bad put into context (from the academy stuff) but i feel like ive seen people negating so many other thoughts he has of her at that exact time that completely contradict. Like I remember before I read and seeing people saying how gross his inner thoughts are and I’m like maybe it’ll get to that point as i read the latter parts but all I’m reading is an anxious, over thinking boy who lives in the environment he lives in and he doesn’t know how to handle strong feelings (of love and etc.)
He’s simultaneously thinking he’s above her and thinking she’s above him, like he WANTS to be as charismatic as she is and he DOES have a real crush on her (again thinking about academy time)
as I’ve read more (I’m on the start of part two), he’s contradicting himself so much and i think two things can exist at once. He has these “off” thoughts but to him he doesn’t see them that way and we can pick them out, yes, but there are other thoughts he has that are just as true as the “off” thoughts. I don’t think he’s lying to Lucy Gray when he’s anxiously going to her after the bombing of the arena or what happened with Arachne like idk I think it’s just two things are happening to him at once
