Hello, everyone! It's been quite a while (over a year, according to the post date of my last post). So, I'm here to answer some questions!
Where have I Been?
The short answer is gone. The long answer is taking care of myself. I quit my job due to my anxiety, my family was forced to sell our house after my father lost his job due to the pandemic, my mental health hit the ground, and I had a gender crisis. (Yes, me!)
What are you doing now?
I just finished my first semester of college (unfortunately will have to redo since I missed a lot of class due to mental struggles)! I'm studying to be an elementary school teacher. I have a therapist on campus who is helping me through my mental struggles. It's also a Christian campus so I am around like-minded people.
What about this blog?
I don't know, honestly. I find it difficult to focus on blogs unrelated to my current neurodivergent special interests (hence why I just retired my animatronic blog). This blog won't be deleted (I never delete a blog since I'm super sentimental lol), but it may continue to be inactive. I still retain most of my traditional values, that has not changed.
Closing thoughts
I hope you all can forgive me for my absence. If you'd like to find me somewhere I'm more active, all my links are on my linktree. You can also check any of my blogs listed in the pinned post on my (also inactive lol) main, @virtual-vivi . I will probably be most active on my (brand new) Beatles blog, @vivi-in-the-sky-with-diamonds, as The Beatles are my current special interest (ironically trad lol). Thank you to everyone who has continued to follow me despite my absence.
xoxo ViVi
Y’all ever have a homework sentence that haunts you years later?
I feel like not a lot of people talk about how being trad doesn't mean you have to only have trad interests. For as long I can remember, I've played video games and still enjoy it to this day. And no, they're not all feminine games, such as the Sims or Animal Crossing (though these are my favorites right now). Throughout my years, I've played many games, ranging from the previously mentioned ones to Skyrim and Oblivion to choice-based games such as Detroit: Become Human, to even jumpscare based games like Five Nights at Freddy's. Do not let anyone tell you that, just because you're trad, you can't enjoy certain things.
xoxo ViVi
Disclaimer: ladies, I am not a "trad" anything. If you're following my blog expecting "trad" stuff, you are going to be highly disappointed.
Just finished watching the season finale of The Chosen! I love this show so much! I have a bit of trouble understanding things through reading sometimes so being able to watch Jesus's ministry as a TV show is amazing c: I love how they portray Jesus as not just being God's Son but as being a human with human feelings as well! If you haven't seen it, I heavily recommend it, even if you aren't Christian! Can't wait for the next season 💖
I know this is a traditionalist blog but I just want to take a moment to post about my new job! I'm a page at my local library and I love it! I spend most days shelf reading since our branch isn't super busy but I usually have a few books to shelf :) I feel like I somehow managed to land one of the most feminine jobs I could have (I actually only have one male co worker funnily enough) and it's just so wonderful and I love it!
