Hey this is a voice acting ask blog for Aoi Asahina from dangan Ronpa!! Asks are open so please feel free to send some!!!!
Yo, what's up dude? This is a bit random, but what's your opinion about part 1? Personally, I think it's really underrated. I've heard a lot of people say it's boring, but I've always enjoyed watching and reading it. (By the way, I accidentally put this in the "submit" section, so if you see that you can ignore it. Sorry lol)
Phantom Blood is a cool part! Personally, I really dig the art style of the manga - it has a long way to go before it reaches Araki’s later levels, but it’s very charming. It’s all beefy and defined, sure, but there’s a much softer feel to how it’s drawn.
I think it’s pretty important to read it, too, since it kind of lays out the groundwork of the overall themes of JoJo, of inheritance and passing on the torch and rising upwards and all that. It definitely feels extra pronounced when you read/watch the part with that in mind.
The setting is also pretty enjoyable, and I wish that we had gotten to explore it in the same way that the later parts lavishly go into detail about where they’re set in.
Jonathan, while not the most nuanced protagonist of the lot, is still really enjoyable. I’m a sucker for huge powerful men who are also gentle, as overdone as it might be. I just think he gets overshadowed a lot by how over the top and loud some of the other protags’ personalities are.
Also? Bruford and Tarkus are cool, we need more love for those guys.
And anyway, even if you still think that part 1 isn’t that great, it’s not that long. It’s a pretty breezy and fun read/watch. If you don’t experience it you miss out on Speedwagon! You don’t want to miss Speedwagon.
Why did Dio wryy like an idiot inside his coffin while he was being carried onto the boat at the end of part 1? Seriously, he could have been discovered very easily! I do like the thought of him trying to supress the wryy, and not succeeding. Eventually giving into the urge of the wryy and letting one out on the docks. So silly, Dio. So silly.
Oh That Dio!
Cue canned laughter.
Do we deserve an ArcSys Jojo fighting game?
It’s the JoJo game we need, but not the JoJo game we deserve.
