MARCUS STOINIS SAY SMTH IM GIVING UP ON YOU
Hey Carol, wanna take me flying?
You can stop looking at me like that.
◘
Wade:
I’m…I don’t know what I feel. That’s pretty weird, seeing as it’s been months since you— [He stopped himself and hummed] Well, guess I can’t say that. But whatever, I’m sure you’re fine. Like. In Heaven or whatever. Glad I got to know you. And sorry we never really hung out.
Not Wade (Winston):
You were a good kid, Matt. I hope you got the good ending.
◘
Wade:
So…it’s been awhile, huh? I bet you missed me. [He laughed but it’s strained. He clears his throat.] Things are pretty fine with me. Like. Like, I’ve been making more things. Baking more things. A lot of things. I actually think people are getting tired of me baking things because no one wants to eat them. But I get it, I guess. You don’t want to eat sweets and things every day. You’ll get sick that way. [There’s a long pause.] It’s still weird not seeing you around. Like, sometimes I think I’ll blink and you’ll be there and this will be just some weird nightmare. I’m still hoping. So. I-I gotta go and I’ll talk to you later. Later, Peps.
Not Wade (Winston):
It’s weird that I’m here and you’re not. The more I think about it the more surreal it gets. But I can’t keep calling you. You’re not even there to get the messages. Fuck. Goodbye.
