okay here is the thing though: boys are really confusing and why the fuck do they always pass themselves off as simple to figure out and girls as complicated, cause, lemme tell you, that is a LIE, okay, you can't just do things and then not do things and then make me think because I'm loosing my ability to concentrate (never that great to begin with) and it's so not okay, okay? So anyway, this has been a word-explosion concerning the general stupidity of boys (and their dumb faces, fuck them)

actually what i really love about it is that the first time i read it i took it at face value. like yeah, boys are really stupid. you either have to teach them the shit no one else has (which is so not my job) or wait for them to outgrow it. they have even more internalized bullshit to get past, believe it or not, and statistically speaking, i'm never sure what i'm in for with guys.
but then i read it again and i realized that it's not that boys are dumb, it's that boys are dumb. like, why do they do that thing where they say sweet things and make you ruminate on it for weeks?? and sometimes they are scruffy and wear cute little beanies and other times they're really sharp and you wanna climb all over them?? and they can be super ridiculous and you want to hate them but you don't???
oh friend i feel ya. in a non creepy way, i feel ya. i think any human that does things and doesn't do things that make you lose focus is really complicated. people are complicated. my advice is to tell said boy he's super cute + dumb and then ask if it's cool if you make out for a bit. consent is important. so are smooches, if you're into that sorta thing.
