On April 28th I was rushed to the ER for intense abdominal pain and vomiting, The doctor perform… Jessica Moore needs your support for Jess's Appendix Removal
On April 28th I was rushed to the ER for intense abdominal pain and vomiting, The doctor performed a CT scan and told me I had acute appendicitis meaning my appendix had rapidly become infected. I stayed at the hospital for 3 days on antibiotics to fight the infection. When I finally came home I was still on antibiotics and pain killers, and it was another few weeks before I started feeling like myself again. I went to a specialist that tracked the progress of situation. I had another CT scan to see how the appendix was doing only to find out that it is still inflamed, and at risk of bursting again and causing worse infection. I have to get it removed. While all of this was happening I was unable to work due to the appendicitis and the current pandemic. I have burned through my funds from living and medical expenses. $8,000 would cover most of the surgery(after insurance) while I unfortunately still have bills from my ER visit and subsequent 3 day hospital stay. I know right now is a tough time for a lot of people and not everyone can give. I understand that. I am out of options so any bit helps and is greatly appreciated.
We all know how much you love your appendix, but sometimes, it turns evil and tries to kill you, so you must take it out. And doing that is expensive. Not all of us can afford it, or have the proper surgical suite in their home to perform the operation themselves. So if you can, donate to help her get that nasty traitor out of her system so we can make an example of it.
