I'm just so excited that I handmade these wool felt hand-warmers to be a gift for my MIL. She is not easy to gift, but she's such an awesome giving person. She happens to always have cold hands, but is frugal and reluctant to "waste" those disposable instant hot packets for cold weather.
So here are some microwavable soft hearts filled with dry rice. You microwave them for 30 seconds and get some toasty radiating heat for an hour or less. They basically last forever, as long as the rice doesn't get wet and rot.
