Not homestuck, and I think i've posted the final before? but I found the rough, the clean up and the color (not the final composite tho, so no lighting effects or color adjustment) and thought it was neat to see them all together.

I'm pretty sure you could go a8out giving the affect of one 8y using a long opera glove, like so.
Sadly there isn't much in latex in the way of pre-made orange gloves. If you're not allergic though, why not use latex body paint!

Hi, sorry if this is really bad manners. :( I know this is a homestuck help blog, but I'm not sure who else to ask. >.< I want to make a jacket like Jewelry Bonney's, but I'm a complete sewing newbie. Would it work if I altered a hoodie to the right shape as a base and sewed panels of fake fur over the top? Sorry to be a bother and thank you for your time. (I love your blog btw, you always have the most helpful stuff. My Roxy cosplay owes you a lot!)

Yes! That sounds like a fine idea. It seems like you already have a good idea as to what you need to do. Not 8eing as familiar with OncePiece (though I do hear that it is a good show, if very long) I can't say if the fake fur is all over or just on that edge... 8ut yes, adding the fur to an existing hoodie or jacket it a good idea.
Try and find one that already has a zipper in it though. Hoodies without zippers will tend to stretch more if you cut them down the middle. If you have one with a zipper, it will help it keep it's proper length. Good luck!
