Why Period Leave, when it can be a Paid Leave!
Today My Topic Is : Period Leave announced by #Zomato
Well living in the 21st century, feminism plays an important role in inequality between men & women in the workforce or any other sector has been a war or a dilemma which is been going on since forever. Yet we have added another whimsical point to it, lowering it to where again women are given more preference over men, making it vice-versa in this particular situation, so my question here is weren't the paid leaves enough to tackle a situation like this? Again, my opinion on this is Periods still a taboo in today's time? It is just a scientific phenomenon existing since humans existence including childbirth. Will a man be given the period leave so he gets to take care of someone he loves going through the pain and unwanting mood swings? Is it possible to divide it equally, whether you are going through a bloody month or not? Cause today a person might not be going through this but something else, where breaks are needed to get back to the normal space in life. It is always easy to raise and abide by the issues but difficult to prove the pros & cons. I am not happy with this decision as much as I am supposed to cause it is yet a start to something which is never in one's control.
