So yesterday my mum says she’s taking me and Em somewhere different for a walk... we’re like FUCK YEAH, an ADVENTURE! So off we went to felindre lake 😊 Except we’d (wrongly, as it turns out 😂) assumed that wherever she was taking us, I’d be able to fit my walker. We did NOT expect; - giant stairs it took us 20 minutes at least to climb - ridiculously thin mud paths that were, in some places, collapsing into the lake - So. Many. Hills. - having to climb over a tree... like, an actual whole ass fallen tree - contending with the fact that none of this allowed for me to use my walker 🙈😂! Which meant poor Emma had to CARRY IT for at least 50% of our hike... AND hold onto me! Mum did hold onto me too fair play, and there are railings, but it was still extremely difficult to navigate. - mum continuously saying “this next bit might be a bit challenging” whilst me and Em yelled “the NEXT BIT? THIS BIT IS CHALLENGING!!” - also, the walk was 6km... it took us 2 1/2 hours to do and I’ve been asleep/lying down for most of today trying to recover 🙈😂! Tbh, we did enjoy ourselves, although half the fun was seriously considering pushing mum into the lake 😂 (we didn’t... she was driving 😂!). We love my mum for our ill advised adventures 🥰❤️ P.s. my favourite moment of the whole walk was Emma lugging my walker whilst mum lugged me round this awful bend on a hill, and she started singing 🎶 She’ll be coming round the mountain when she comes🎶 and I laughed so hard I nearly fell over 😂 #adventuring #notaccessible #likeatall #butstillfun #mumsintrouble #wenearlypushedherinthelake😂 #funniestshitever😂 (at Felindre Reservoir) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGa5qUyj2Yr/?igshid=hnepbxhj8tlg
