#thistimelastyear we were in Paris and it felt like home. The French were so lovely to us. We drank champagne and ate French onion soup under the Eiffel Tower. The next time we go back we're staying in Paris for a month and pretending we live there. #paris #notacliche #endofthejourney (at Eiffle Tower - Paris, France)

This is part of the lyric from the song #Captain from #HillsongUnited's soon-to-be-released album #Empires. But this song caught my heart since the very first time I heard it. I remember so clearly it was sung at #HillsongCollege's #chapel where @leeburns74, led by the Holy Spirit, turned the chapel from the regular preaching/teaching service to spirit-filled chapel. He started from prophesying to a couple of students who then encouraged by him to outwork The Spirit in them by prophesying over their fellow students. I remembered how powerful the presence of the Spirit that day. I believe everyone was drenched in him. And for me personally, this song added some more into it. For the whole chapel session, I cried. At first I didn't know why I cried, let alone why I did the whole time. Even when the chapel has finished, I still cried. But then I knew it was not a cry of mourn, it was of release. Having myself as a sea-adventurer, scuba diving and all, as well as have worked alongside marine projects which allowed me to work alongside local fishermen and got myself on their traditional boat, sailed far away from the shore, really depended on natural guidance like wind and stars, this song just spoke loud to me. My future really is as far as His hand that guides me. Without Him, I'll never know where to go and might just as well lost. I can't wait until this song/the album is released. I am really excited. This is really a God-breathed album. MAY 29!! PS: Pardon the handwriting! First time trying calligraphy. :p #notacliche #HillsongCollegeJournal (at EMPIRES)
Ecclessiastes 3:11 I recently have been feeling upset because for two weeks in a row (the same) people has been canceling their appointment(s) with me in the very last minute. It's not that we didn't agree on the date and time – it was planned long before and everybody agreed – and when we did agree to reschedule, they cancelled on me again. I was upset not just because they cancelled on me in the last minute, twice, but more about the time and value I placed on them that I've given up my work time just to go out with them. I am SUPER THANKFUL I have a God who is never late nor ever canceling out on me. When He says so, so is happening, even if it means I'll have to wait. Even when I haven't/don't ask, He has always been faithful. Just as it's written in Ecclesiastes 3:11, He made everything beautiful in its time. I might never knew WHEN is the time, but I trust God knows and He'll make it beautiful when it's time. Just like the Israelites had no idea how long they'll need to walk to the promised land or how long they'll need to circle around the walls of Jericho, just like Joseph didn't know why his brothers sold him out or how long he will be put in jail, just like Abraham when God asked him to present Isaac as an offering... I just need to be like them – keep walking, believing and be faithful to God – and He'll reveal the rest. PS: On my story, I got a happy ending. I shared this with a friend who ended up taking me to go scuba diving with him. Two boat dives. No hassle walking down the beach with the heavy gears. And it was for free. Truly, everything is beautiful in its time. #notacliche #HillsongCollegeJournal #faith Picture credit: as seen in http://www.cityofdavidng.org/Portals/CityofDavid/He-has-made-everything-beautiful-in-its-time-clock-christian-wallpaper-hd_1024x768.jpg

"I realized I was holding onto something that didn't exist anymore. That the person I missed didn't exist anymore. People change. The things we like and dislike change. And we can wish they wouldn't all day long, but that never works."
