If anyone had told Alistair he was calling for his whitelighter he would have thought they were insane. He didn't want the man to come to his rescue from the beginning, but he was glad that he did because he was alive now. That didn't stop the mysterious savior to shimmy out, or what ever it was that they did. He was going to thank him when he gained consciousness again and could stand up on his own, but that wasn't going to happen. Having a talk with the man's boss seemed to be more and more appealing as the days went on. Why the held did he even need someone to protect him? He was supposed to do the protecting.

He regained full consciousness and was able to fight again. Which was a good thing because he wasn't letting his friends down. Alistair subconsciously called out for Tanner when he was surrounded by the Omi and Nogitsune again. The Omi were diminishing and he was glad that he made more than one several arrow. The man took one of his arrows from his back and placed it in his boy. Alistair backed away from the dark figure as he shot the boy, aiming for its heart. He watched as it landed perfectly.
