Prompt: Feathers

One of the first things I think of when I hear the word feathers is birds. There are times when I envy birds, because they have a free life. There is nothing holding them down; they can fly away whenever they please, and move on without having any strings attached. I also envy that they can see the world in its beauty. Birds can travel around wherever they want, again with no responsibilities (unless, of course, they have young ones to take care of). I have a certain responsibility here as queen, I know that... But there are times where I wish I could travel again. Surely, I'll never forget the memories I made while traveling the world.

The other thing that comes to mind is the I Want to Be Your Canary play. The day Tantalus came to Alexandria and performed that play is one that means a lot to me, because it was the day my life changed. I met him, and, well... I'll just say I am glad it happened. So very glad, indeed.
