Queen grumbled as a ray of sunlight splayed across her eyes. She rolled over and buried her head against something warm- wait. Her eyebrows furrowed with confusion as her eyes fluttered open and she saw Seifer's sleeping form, his arm draped around her. Her memories of the night before slowly flooded back- The dress, the fight with Machina, the punch, the kiss. More pressing, however, was the pounding in her head and the dryness in her throat. She buried her head against Seifer's chest and groaned, unwilling to face the day.

"I see someone doesn't love me any more - your affections fly else where? I'm wounded darling."

Surveillance Room
"It should be here somewhere... Oh, there it is!" Trey walks over to one of the monitors and presses EJECT on the buzzing machine underneath it. "Oh yes, this will take care of our dear Almasi's Alibi." He inserted the DVD into his laptop and opened a video-editing program. He fast-forwarded it until there was a clear shot of Seifer between the other students. He kept watching until he found what he wanted. Seifer walking alone into the Janitor's Closet corridor. He selected the respective minutes and copied them.
After making sure there was enough footage to prove the upperclassman was on the area during the crime's estimate time, he searched for another part of the video. The one of him and Seifer heading the closet's way. He pasted the previous recording over that part and kept watching. The camera's position didn't allow a direct image of the closet's door, but it recored whoever came in and out of that corridor. "Now, lets ensure my safety..." Dragging the cursor again, Trey searched the the part where he came out of the corridor alone. with another copy+paste, he looked the previous minutes to cover himself. "That should do it." He laughed to himself. Now, the footage only showed Seifer heading to the corridor by himself, then him again, coming out by himself a few minutes later. Himself in no part of the video.
Saving the changes, Trey copied the .avi file to his own computer and removed the DVD from his laptop, placing it neatly back on the recording unit. Trey gave the room a last glance to make sure there was no evidence, and threw the hood back on his head. He adjusted the cap he was wearing and locked the door behind him, leaving the spare keys back under the plant pot decorating the room's entrance.

Queen breathed a sigh of relief as she leaned against a pillar, staring at a small slip of paper in her hand. Being kind to custodial staff had it's perks; She only had to ask them, eyes wide and innocent, if they would let her into the records room because she left her lunch box in there when helping sort through old files. In by far the creepiest thing she'd ever done- and she wasn't proud of it, trust her- she sifted though the files, found Seifer's, and noted down his home address. She cringed as she thought of his, or anyone's, reaction if she told them, but desperate times call for desperate measures, and to succeed in life, one must be crafty.
She took note of the still-bright, yet sinking sun as she took off in the general direction of Seifer's house. Luckily it was close to the school, though away from her own home. She cursed herself for not thinking this through or doing it sooner- hopefully she could get this stupid apology over and done with, then catch the last bus home. She frowned as she approached her destination, worried about his reaction. She knew that in Seifer's place, she'd slam the door in her own face, and honestly wouldn't blame him if he did the same.
She turned onto his street and slowed down, scrutinizing each house for the correct house number. Finding it at last, she gulped and took a deep breath- she was more nervous about this than she expected to be. What was with her lately? Being nervous, not thinking things through, letting her anger get the best of her... she took another deep breath and rang the doorbell, then took a step back, waiting patiently.
