Sliding into the teens lap he wrapped his arms around his neck. Leaning in he nuzzled at the teen's jaw lightly, a quiet rumbling leaving him as he nosed at the alpha's jaw.
Becoming a werewolf, especially an alpha, had all but cured Stiles of his hyperactivity issues. He was now more than content to lounge around when given the opportunity. It was that desire which found the young alpha reclining against the arm of the couch, lazily flipping through the channels on the television before settling on The Dark Knight for the millionth time.
The Joker had just blown up the hospital, Stiles letting out a small chuckle at the sight of the nefarious criminal in a nurses outfit, when Miriam came into the room. His eyes widened in surprise when the omega werewolf made a beeline for him and crawled into his lap and nuzzled at his jaw.
His head tipped back slightly at the affectionate gesture, his arm automatically coming up to wrap around the male's lithe waist. It wasn't often that Miriam allowed himself to be affectionate so Stiles learned to relish in the moments it happened, turning his head to rub his cheek against the side of the other's head with a pleased rumble.
"Hi," he murmured, one hand caressing the other's back gently as his eyes drifted shut, the movie all but forgotten about as it played in the background.
"Dying in your arms, the best way to go out."
"Don't Die on Me!" [Sentence Starters]
It wasn't an unusual occurrence for Mitchell to stop by Miriam's apartment on his way home from a shift at the hospital. His eyes widened as he finished climbing the stairs to the floor upon which the werewolf's apartment was located, the scent of blood overwhelming to his vampiric senses. The only thing worse than the overpowering scent was whose it was-- Miriam's.
He paid no attention to what he looked like, tearing down the hallway with eyes as black as a bottomless pit to throw open the door of the younger male's apartment. A strangled noise sounded in his throat as the scent intensified, the vampire stumbling the rest of the way into the apartment.
"Miriam!?" Mitchell shouted as he tore through the apartment, trying to find the origins of the scent that pervaded the small suite. "Oh god," he gasped as he entered the bedroom, the black in his eyes fading to tortured brown at the sight that greeted him.
Miriam laid crumpled on the floor by the bed as though he'd been caught unawares just waking up, a small pool of blood surrounding the prone figure from an arrow lodged in the other's back. Black lines painted the skin he could find, the bitter scent of something foreign mixed with the sweet scent of the werewolf's blood. The vampire was frozen for a few moments in horror and shock before the small movement of Miriam's head had him scrambling across the floor to the other's side.
His knees landed in the small pool of black blood, his hands frantically hovering over the arrow in the male's back, unsure whether he should leave it or pull it out. "Miri... God Miri what do I do?" Mitchell asked, rhetorically, his voice breathy and panicked. Finally making a decision, the vampire gripped the wooden shaft of the arrow and tugged it free of the other's body, unable to control the wince as the serrated tip slid free of the male's flesh.
Gathering the werewolf into his arms, he pressed his palm to the still open wound in Miriam's back as he rested his cheek on top of the wolf's head, the panic within him only growing as blood continue to seep through his fingers. "Ya are gonna be okay Miri," Mitchell tried to soothe the other, the words more for himself than Miriam, "We're gonna fix this an' it's all gonna be okay."
The choked laugh that shook the other's body shocked him, the vampire pulling back to look down at Miriam. "Liar..."Miriam spoke in a pained hiss, dark brown eyes meeting his from beneath dark lashes against paper white skin. The younger male gave Mitchell a stiff smile, reaching up with a trembling hand to touch the vampire's cheek, a smear of blood being left behind. "Dying in your arms... The best way to go out," the werewolf sighed as his hand dropped back to his stomach, his eyes drifting shut as his breathing became shallow.
"No... No Miri," Mitchell pleaded, pressing harder against the still seeping wound in the other's back, "Jus' tell me what t' do, jus' tell me... I can make this better, okay? I can, I know I can. Miriam!" Mitchell shouted the other's name as the other's heart stuttered in its already slow rhythm. "Ya can'... Ya can' leave me," the vampire pleaded, his own eyes screwing shut against the sting of tears as he held the werewolf closer, his shoulders already trembling from the willful withholding of his sorrow, "Ya were supposed t' be 'ere... We were supposed t' get out together... What... What am I gonna do without ya? I was gonna be better for ya, gonna try harder t' be what ya deserved... I was gonna tell ya I loved ya and ya were gonna say it back an' we... we were gonna be happy ... M-Miriam," his voice finally broke on a sob, burying his face against the other's disheveled locks, letting his tears loose to be absorbed by the other's hair.
His sorrow finally became vocal as Miriam's heart slowed, stuttered, and stopped. The werewolf's body going limp in his arms. Mitchell's arm tightened around the other as he rocked back and forth with the other's already cooling body held tight to his chest. Pulling his head back from the other's hair, the vampire let out a hoarse scream toward the ceiling quickly followed by another and another until he could no longer scream, his voice giving up on him. Only then did he look down at Miriam once more, his blood covered hand coming up to caress the other's cheek shakily. "I'm sorry," he croaked hoarsely as tears continued to roll down his cheeks, leaning down to press a tender kiss to the other's motionless lips. Closing his eyes, he pressed his face into the crook of the other's neck, his sorrow only evident to the one person who could make it better, the one person who was gone.

Returned Favors || Mitchell and Cillian

Walking through his apartment, he instantly picked up the distinct scent of something not so alive as he headed into the kitchen. Normally this would be a cause for concern but as he’d recently started associating with a vampire it didn’t set off any alarms. Setting his bag down on the kitchen counter he glanced around for said vampire.
"Mitchell?"
Frowning he moved down the hall, checking to see where exactly the man had gone. Honestly the apartment wasn’t that big so it wasn’t like there was a great variety of rooms to explore. His bedroom door was cracked open, something he knows he didn’t do himself. Letting out an irritated growl he pushes open the door, only to promptly pause.
Standing in the middle of the room with an unreadable expression on his face was Mitchell, in his hand was a vibrator. At first Cillian wondered how long he’d been in his room to dig that one out, he hadn’t used that particular one in a while, having bought better and more satisfying ones, but the look on Mitchell’s face or rather the lack of expression had him bursting out laughing.
Nearly doubling over as he shook with laughter, he tried to compose himself after a few moments. Straightening up, he wiped at his eyes, which had started to water from how hard he’d been laughing. “Shit I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time.”
Walking over to the vampire he took the toy from his hands saying “You know, for someone as old as you are, a little thing like this really shouldn’t be that hard to understand.” Humor leaving his face he tilted his head “Do not come in here unless I tell you, do not touch my stuff unless I say so…” He trailed off, stepping closer to the vampire before raising the toy and lightly tapping it against Mitchell’s cheek before narrowing his eyes and giving the vampire a slap across the cheek with it. “Give me one good reason why I should let you off easy.”
Most people though that letting oneself into another's living space without permission was faux pas but after living for over a hundred years such things mattered little to Mitchell. It especially didn't bother him considering how the younger male was constantly hounding him with questions about his history, how he was made, how he fed, and other such information. The cause, as the vampire was told, was for research on the species of vampires and his name wouldn't be mentioned. As it was, Mitchell couldn't trust such reasoning considering he knew next to nothing about the werewolf other than his age and where the man lived.
Letting himself into the younger male's apartment was easy enough, lock picking was a trait easily picked up when one had endless amounts of time to develop the skill. It was getting past the person at the front desk and everyone in the hallway that was actually the most difficult part of his journey. The random boxes littering the living room and kitchen weren't too much of a surprise considering the man hadn't been in town long but the utter lack of personal mementos was a touch frustrating. Either the wolf hadn't unpacked them yet or Cillian simply wasn't one for reminders-- something Mitchell could understand.
The boxes in the living didn't really contain anything important, random stacks of paper and books of supernatural lore, so Mitchell quickly moved on in his search. The kitchen was even more disappointing as the half unpacked boxes only contained kitchen utensils, pots and pans, and plates. Apparently the man was living from box to box which hardly revealing of Cillian's nature of his purpose in Beacon Hills. There were only two more rooms that could yield any type of information about the man and Mitchell highly doubted it would be in the bathroom. With that in mind, the man moved on toward the werewolf's bedroom.
The overwhelming scent of werewolf concentrated behind the closed door of the bedroom had Mitchell's nose wrinkling slightly. A resigned sigh left him at the sight of more unpacked and half unpacked boxes littering the room. Cillian was certainly making him work for even the slightest amount of information on the younger male. But still, he'd come there with a purpose in mind and the vampire was resolved not to leave until he had something on the other.
Rifling through the boxes, he came across various boxes of clothes and more books which were hardly revealing. Apparently the man had a thing for the supernatural, which made sense considering Cillian was a werewolf, and the books helped support the man's claim that he was bothering him for a personal account of vampirism. Still, it wasn't exactly what Mitchell was looking for. It also wasn't revealed in the man's clothing choices either. He wasn't looking for something to use against Cillian necessarily, though he certainly wouldn't complain if that was what he found, but more curious about the man who had apparently made it his life's mission to stalk the elder.
It was as he was nearing the end of the stack of boxes, and his patience, that Mitchell finally found something curious. In a box which seemingly contained nothing more than odds and ends, buried at the bottom, the vampire pulled out a large pink vibrator with a bulge at the base. He could only stare at the implement of pleasure curiously as he turned it over in his hand.
Objectively Mitchell could admit that Cillian was an attractive, really the only thing that was a turn off was the fact that the younger male was a werewolf. With that said, the vampire couldn't understand why the other would have to resort to plastic and batteries to attain pleasure. He'd seen the looks the man had gotten when they were out together, had seen the lust and desire painted clearly on the faces of those they passed or happened to sit near. If Cillian wanted sex that bad Mitchell was sure the man could have it with a snap of his fingers.
Lost in this contemplation, Mitchell never noticed that owner of the apartment had returned until a loud bout of laughter interrupted his internal musings. Turning to face the other man, the vibrator still in his hand , his brows rose at the other's amusement. While he hadn't expected to be caught in the act of rifling through the other's apartment, because he was sure the other would be able to smell him, he still would have thought Cillian's reaction would have been anger instead of hilarity on account of the other's nearly secretive mannerisms.
The vampire retained his silence as the younger male finally stopped laughing and walked toward him, the vibrator easily slipping from his grasp as the man took it. Snorting softly, Mitchell's head tilted slightly to the side, "'s not that I don' understand it, I jus' don' understand why ya would need it," he told the other with a slightly insulted look upon his face at the insinuation that he was so old that he didn't know what a vibrator was. He might be a vampire but he wasn't dead yet.
Finally the humor left Cillian's face and the reaction Mitchell had been expecting replaced it, cool anger mixed with indifference. What he wasn't expecting, however, was for the light tap against his cheek with the broad side of the fake shaft. "I jus' thought I'd even the playin' field a bit," he informed the other casually with a shrug of his shoulders when the other started reprimanding him. Even more surprising than the soft tap to his cheek was the sting of the vibrator as Cillian smacked him across the face with it, the vampire flinching back slightly with a slightly wider set to his eyes.
"What so it's alright for ya to worm ya way into my life and try t' learn every detail 'bout it but I can't return the favor. 'ow hypocritical of ya Cillian," he grunted as his hand rose to capture the werewolf's wrist attached to the hand still wielding the vibrator as a weapon, tugging the man closer, "What ya gonna do, huh, use it on me?"
Spotting the man he'd been trying to get a hold of since he'd entered Beacon Hills, he walked over, two cups in hand. One was his usual coffee, the other...was more to this man's taste. Stopping at his table he sat down the cup in front of him. "I you'll like this a little better." He said "Its fresh, none of the stuff they use in the hospitals, I heard it doesn't work as well."
The fresh scent of blood had Mitchell looking up with furrowed brows just as a cup used for take-out coffee was placed before him. Raising his gaze from the cup to the male standing beside him, his brows raised slightly as his eyes narrowed suspiciously. "An' why would ya assume the regular coffee ain't good enough for me?" Mitchell inquired, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms over his chest.
We're Allies Now
Raleigh had never known why he was so drawn to the musky flavor of liquor or beer. He supposed it was because it tasted of the earth, of the bitter bits of root and dirt that made him think of home in a fond sort of way. Though it took quite a few drinks in his system to do anything to his mental stability, mostly he just liked the quiet, lingering aspect of sitting at the bar top and just sipping on a brandy. There wasn't the draw to be social in this setting, but there was always that chance and ability presenting itself if the Alpha felt himself remarkably drawn to chatting with a few strangers. But mostly he liked his privacy and he liked being alone. That was a peculiar sort of quality for an Alpha, but he wasn't like most and never truly had the plan to commit to being anything more than he already was and wasn't.
The Alpha was sipping at his third glass of brandy when he was greeted with the scent of another wolf, a dulled sort of aroma that only served to alert him to the presence of an Omega. His eyes moved from the tumbler in his grip and toward the door, eyeing the other creature carefully before giving him a slow nod of his head— an acknowledgement. He hadn't any qualms with the other, so he simply turned back to his drink with a quiet little hum, finishing it off.
"Oh, need something?" Killian sniffed the air, acting cautious. Another lycanthrope?
