King Verse
@tessastormrp
The hall was abuzz with feast in honor of the new hand, Jacaerys Velaryon. The tourney had started that day and now all the court at Kings Landing feasted and celebrated.
As did Queen Helaena. She was of course the model of grace and modesty, as she always was, and had enjoyed the day and evening with her husband. But this evening was different, everyone was relaxed and enjoyed the drinking and feasting, even the queen. Helaena had drunk more than she had originally ever did, and so far showed no signs of stopping. She sat down with a soft giggle in her seat next to Aemond as she came back from speaking to a few ladies at court.
“More wine please,” she said gently as she held her cup up to be refilled, and it was done quickly. She sat back in her seat and smiled sweetly at her husband, “it is a wonderful evening my love, are you enjoying yourself?” Aemond was probably the only person to have seen Helaena even somewhat drunk before, she always got very giggly, and all the more so the more she drank.
"Aemond," Alicent said, coming over to her son and daughter with a stern look on her face, she shooed away a servant who gestured to an open chair next to Helaena and instead sat on Aemonds right, Helaena having sat on his left.
"I wish to speak with you," Alicent said as she sat down and grabbed her son's arm, "it is urgent."
"You always seem to have urgent business," Helaena commented with a soft sarcastic tone before drinking from her cup. Alicent glanced at her daughter confused for a moment before she looked at Aemond.
"My love," she said her voice gentle, "you cannot kill Ser Cole. He does not deserve this. He, he is family."
Helaena who was drinking from her cup nearly choked on the wine from the laugh that left her lips. She pressed the back of her hand to her mouth as she attempted to compose herself but continued to laugh at her mother's words.

A King of Lions
|OPEN| Making his way down the hall Leon adjusted the sleeves of his shirt and let out a breath, he was tired and today had been a long day of speeches and advisers going off in his ear. The King just wanted nothing more then to retired to his room for the night and ignore everything but an emergency. Shutting his door behind him he ignored the guards beside his door, he was too tired to even speak with them right now. Conflict in other kingdoms was spilling into his usually peaceful one and it had many on edge. Shedding his outer robe to the chair he poured some wine and headed out to the open balcony to look out past the courtyards gardens and to the kingdom. Lights from homes were slowly going out, torches and lanterns moved along road ways. It seemed peaceful and this was how he wanted it to stay. Pressure of conflict and urges from other officials for him to marry, to have children was causing headaches. “I am content...why can’t anyone see that?” He mumbled taking a drink of his wine, leaning on the railing. His mind wandering before he heard something below in the gardens.

Samael stood on the roof, the night breeze ruffling his suit. He had conquered Boston now all he needed was Wahington, and with the way the Winchesters and his dear brother were behaving it would be his in a matter of days.
He had come to Boston to meet the VP who had taken a couple days off to be with family following the scandal that the president had slept with a Whitehouse aid.
His eyes landed on a young girl leaving the bus stop, he smiled and jumped down from his building and strolled the couple blocks to the bus stop.
“Where are you heading Miss?”

I couldn’t have met a sweeter boy than I did when I met Anduin Wrynn. Yes, I heard the whispers of his kindness, but it really takes meeting him to see how little the stories of him tell. He’s exceptionally kind, and as I have known him in his adulthood, that kindness and compassion has only grown. But of course, so have our feelings for one another. He can bring a smile to my face even when I’m in the darkest of places, and he knows exactly what I need in my times of trouble. My heart flutters whenever we’re alone together, and I long just to take him in my arms and never let go.

Shanarra: While I never expected her to bump into me what seemed like ages ago, Shanarra has always been a good friend to me, and there whenever I needed her and vice versa. I couldn’t imagine a better friend to come to me, purely through accident. I couldn’t imagine my life without her, now that I’ve met her, and given the opportunity to change my past, I wouldn’t, if it meant she didn’t get to come into my life again.
Caerleon: I feel like I haven’t spoken with Caerleon as often as I should, being Shanarra’s father, but I enjoy his presence in the courts all the same. He’s very kind, if not a bit quiet, but when I am able to speak with him, I find a smile plastered to my face and in a fit of giggles. Perhaps I’ll get to know him more in the coming days, at least I’m hoping for it.
❅ -- Our muses are trying to warm up after spending a day outside in the snow. - Anduinkingofstormwind
"Brrr!" Akirlia shivered as she and Anduin made their way back into Ironforge, after a day of exploring the world outside of the Dwarf capital, taking in the sights, experience the snowfall, and playing with the small animals that lived in the frigid conditions, Akirlia threatening to take a snow leopard cub back with them, though as its mother approached, they found it safer to leave it be.
"Cold doesn’t normally bother me," she mused, rubbing her hands together, attempting to warm them as the King walked beside her, reaching for her freezing hands, taking them in his own. "But this cold is more than I’ve experienced." Stepping into the warmth of Ironforge, the Draenei unwrapped her scarf a bit as they walked, finally feeling at ease as the temperature rose around them. As they walked to their room, dwarves bowed respectfully to the King and his Lady, and human and Draenei nodded their heads in greeting to each and every man, woman, and child as they passed, smiles plastered to their faces.
Finally in the peace of their room, Anduin began to shrug himself out of his winter clothes, his blue hues wandering to Akirlia, who rid herself of her own, watching as more and more of her beautiful, blue skin appeared to his eyes, a smile crossing his lips. Pulling his shirt over his head, he slyly strode over to his beloved, his hands slipping under her shirt, a surprised jump escaping her as his cold hands touched her warm skin. Peering over her shoulder, noticing the expression upon Anduin’s face, she grinned, a soft laugh escaping her as he eased her out of her shirt.
"My King, we’ve just only gotten back," she mused, the tone of her voice playful. "Shouldn’t we have a bit of time to warm ourselves up?" Though despite her words, she allowed her shirt to come off, feeling lips press themselves against her spine, causing her to shiver in delight, a smug smile crossing Anduin’s features, his hands wandering down her waist to rest upon her hips.
"I have an idea of how to warm us up, love," he purred, causing Akirlia to lick her lips in anticipation. "And it’ll be worthwhile for us both…"
