The Foursome Night

That October 12 night, the four of us met at Buendia because it would be a mini-not-so-reunion-slash-get-together for us. We went at Kuya Ran's place because it was the best place for a movie-food-laugh-whatsoever marathon. So, Jem brought a bagnet from Ilocos, and Ivan brought some horror movies, and I brought some brownies, and kuya Ran took care of the alcohol.

Then, we first ate Jem's bagnet. It was a good dinner. We were not talking that much yet. While eating, we were watching "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo." It was funny but that's it. When Kim Chiu started babbling about her feels, we started pushing our banat lines, too. Hugot dito. Hugot doon.

Then, over bottles of alcohol, with Emperador for us boys and San Miguel Ice for the chic Jem, we watched scary films. The one that we really watched was The Grudge, and I forgot which The Grudge was the scariest. We were frightening each other. I even scared Jem when she went inside the comfort room. When she went out, I suddenly grabbed her leg, and she screamed.

After the scary things and alcohol marathon, we went to the nearby lugaw place.

Their lugaw is delicious. It was freshly cooked when they served it to us, even though we waited for it for quite some time.

While waiting for their lugaw, I bought four Balut eggs for the four of us. We dared Ivan to eat it. At first, he was hesitant but after a while, he ate it. Actually, I told him "pati ba naman sa Balut, nare-reject ako."

We stayed there until around 3 in the morning because we were talking about all of our feels and anything under the sun, err, moon. We even asked the ate at the carinderia to take a photo of us. Souvenir.

When we went back home at kuya Ran's place, we played with my Monopoly Deal and Boggle. We were playing it until around 5 in the morning. We were injecting all of our banat lines and feels while we were playing it, in a way that we were relating it with our games and everything that is happening in it.

We woke up at around 11 in the morning. I cooked the Brunch. The leftover bagnet, a can of Spam and le delicious fried rice. Ahem, ahem. After eating, we pig around and just watched Tales from the Dark 2. It was like a Thailand, I guess, version of Shake Rattle and Roll. After that, we took a bath and went to Glorietta because Dayn would be meeting us there and would be treating us at McDo. Hoooray!
