//I don't usually post about having drafts, but I realised I had missed a couple of threads earlier and didn't want anyone to think I have been ignoring them. Damn you tumblr for not telling me. I think I have all the actual threads on my threads page? At least the current ones, I didn't include all the memes, If you want them to be real continuing threads though let me know.

If I missed you please let me know. I didn't intentionally leave people off, but I've hit a wall tonight. It's nearly 2 am and I've had a very very stressful week because of various personal things. I will get all my drafts done tomorrow, I'm sorry people are still waiting for those replies on this account, my other Carol (silentcarol) and my Daryl (wingsandacrossbow).

Hopefully I'll be more organized about this now. If not, I'm sorry. I'm human, and a very tired one with school aged children and chores at that.

     Beth was content in knowing that this gunman had no    intentions of hurting her. In fact, it seemed as though    he wanted to help her. Quickly, her jitters had worked    themselves out and she picked her backpack up off of    the ground and settled the straps onto her shoulders.     He was right. That man very well could come back—    but it wasn’t as though Beth couldn’t take care of     herself if he did. Did she really want to just leave with    this complete and total stranger? 

   ”I’m fine,” she muttered to him, reaching for her lost    partner’s crossbow and settled the strap of it over    her shoulder as well. “Thanks,” she said after a     moment, still unsure of how to react to this stranger.    ”Where are we goin’? And why are ya lettin’ me come    with you? You don’t even know me…”

     Her hesitation was a completely normal reaction and if she hadn't shown how weary she was about following him, Jake would have thought her as insane. Hurting her was not on his agenda, but she didn't know that. At least he could see she was smart. Jacoby unscrewed the silencer from the pistol, pocketed it, and placed the weapon in its holster then reached for his machete. Rarely was he seen without some kind of weapon in his grasp.

     Jake had started to walk in the other direction when her question made him stop. It was a very reasonable and logical question.  "Because if I left you here then my conscience would eat me alive. You might be able to take care of yourself."

     Gesturing to the crossbow she had slung over her shoulders, Jake stated, "Hell, from the looks of it you can more than take care of yourself. Once we get somewhere safer like more than a few miles away you can leave if you want. Just for my own sanity I want you to come with me just for a little bit. And if you decided not to then that if your decision and yours alone."

// I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who kept me company today and kept my mind occupied in Maggie's world instead of my own. I can't tell you all what a comfort you have been. I hope my gratitude shows in the posts and replies I wrote tonight, I tried my hardest to write my best stuff (and thangs) for you all. 

I owe replies to notdeadxyet and pick-a-damn-side but I'm exhausted so I'll do them hopefully tomorrow but if not then definitely wednesday.

     A flush appeared on Jake's cheek and then he gave her a smile smile. 

             "Well, I don't know if pretty would be the right word, but thank you."

"Maggie, don’t ever doubt yourself when it comes to me. You were the best big sister I could have ever asked for, and you still are. You didn’t ask me how I was doin’ because you knew that I was alright. And I was. Because I still have you in my life. As long as I have you, I know everything will be just fine."

Maggie smiled, reassured. "I don't know about 'best' but I tried. I think everyone was just doing our best. I'm proud of you, you know. You've been really great. Especially with Judith."
