Our honeymoon was sooo lovely, as was Scotland! We definitely will go back. Edinburgh is AMAZING, so was our trip to Loch Ness and the nature, the nature!!! Glasgow was a bit ... meh, but the food there was amazing. And the hotel cheaper, lol. Unfortunately it rained/was quite cold while we were there so didn't go to Loch Lommond. The weather while we were in Edinburgh was much better and my favorite part was definitely hiking to Carlton Hill and the one across it (above Holyrood). So sunny, and such a view!! We're vegetarian so no haggis for us, but I loved the shortbread (brought some home) and also the whiskey ice cream in Pitlochry. Tablet didn't seem like something I'd like so i didn't buy any. Irn Bru was definitely interesting haha. As I've been to the UK before, I also was quite happy to Tesco and get their bourbon cream biscuits, as well as salt and vinegar crisps and them egg and cress sandwiches. Some photos:
The Necropolis in Glasgow was the best part of the city lol. And Nessie was unfortunately too shy. Also, Armchair Books in Edinburgh, best second-hand bookstore ever!
