Khalen is described as a troubled young individual who is very impatient and has negative qualities as a person. Regularly being interruptive and annoying. He mostly spends his time yelling at others, either to be seen or to be heard. Deep down it seems he doesn't really want to be this explosive of a person, but it isn't like he has a choice. He does want friends, to have a family, to be likeable, but he can't, as his anger and resentment seem to stop him from reaching those goals. Being so close, but so far.

London Springs: Khalen is thankful for London staying as his friend, he never thought he'd really have one, he does origami with her sometimes, just to try to be friends. He met and became friends with London first before the rest of the crew.
Asher "Wil" Wilson: Khalen and Wil argue often, sometimes getting into meaningless physical fights, Khalen never knew Wil was the one who made and gave him his hearing aids.
Lexis Rosemary: Khalen tries to argue and even threatens to fight back, but he knows he'll loose, as Lexis doesn't hold back on punches unlike Wil. Khalen listens to Lexis more often than the rest of the crew, mostly intimidated by her stature.
