hey hey OP? I admire your tenacity and secrecy, I can't wait to read your wip someday hopefully but until then I'll happily be a pigeon waiting for its daily crumbs

that’s certainly sweet of you, though it’s less about tenacity and more about accommodating my own writing workflow. writing out-of-order is the only way i can actually get a project done. i need the wiggle room to finish, say, chapter 8 before chapter 1, not to mention style and continuity editing. i’ve serialized fics before and it was great to roll out weekly updates, but in both cases i still finished writing the whole thing beforehand.

[also omg as hard as it is to sit on fanfics, it feels way, way harder to do it with original fic. i worked on dangerous crowns for two and a half years, it was AGONIZING to not talk about some of those late-game plot points.]

i’m having a lot of fun posting excerpts, though, and it keeps me accountable, so i’m definitely gonna do more of them. to be honest, i’m kind of flabbergasted at the positive feedback! i’m used to writing canon/OC pairings, so a big juggernaut ship is new territory for me - especially a ship that’s literally older than i am and has decades of character takes attached to it. it’s, uh, humbling, to say the least. 💦

I watched Skam when it was coming out (after season 3) but could never quite get into the first couple remakes (French and Italian I think?) so I stopped and thought I would try again once a full season of each was finished but I never picked it back up.

But I still follow a few Skam/remakes blogs and Druck and the American one seem by far the ones I would be more interested in.
