A wise person (Mom) said recently, "You can't possibly be having as much fun as it looks in your blog posts." And it's true. Sometimes you are just not having fun. It is hard to take a picture of how you feel when you are overheating in the sun, the smell of sewer in the air, with flies swarming your face. It is hard to blog about the unsettling feelings you have when the van won't start and you are 2 hours from the nearest auto shop. Or white-knuckle driving through a rainstorm with the possibility of any farm animal you can imagine coming on the road. Or there is the "be careful there, a lot of muggings happen in that area." How about in a hot bus/boat baking in the sun with 5 different people touching you at once & having to pee. The ebb and flows of traveling. This post is for you, oh-wise-one.
